Luxurious retreat surrounded by nature! Top notch service, very sumptuous buffet breakfast at Planter's Shed. As expected of a 5-star hotel. Family-oriented, (here for wellness but overwhelmed by screaming kids). Location abit hard for drivers coz not many know about this place yet. Will definitely come back again.

Kids had a blast for our two nights staycation at the resort. We upgraded to sanctuary double double as we wanted a view of the reservoir. But we got the limited view our room is closer to the lobby side. Wish we could be given the room nearer to the tree houses 🤪for better view of the reservoir. Breakfast spread was great. We didn’t have to wait too long to get a table, probably also helps that our stay was on weekdays (Monday to Wed). We enjoyed the convenient of visiting night safari, river wonders and Singapore zoo at walking distance to the resort. The only thing we wish could be improved is the limited shaded sitting area at the swimming pool. The view on the roof top is amazing! Overall a great staycation for our family ☺️

Beautiful resort in nature. Great architecture. The view of the reservoir is relaxing and if you open the sliding door in the room, you can hear the birds sing. Must compliment the service team - very friendly , Composed and warm - took care of my elderly parents well. The resort is very popular now with extended families but they manage well. Requests for door stoppers for our connecting rooms , shower seat were all attended to. I read lots of reviews that are below average but I must say I felt everything was above average. They also called upon check out if we need help we luggage and also asked if we need evening turn down service. Breakfast was just AMAZING . Quality and wide selection … I didn’t expect too much … maybe local hotel standard but no … I can say on par with luxury 5 star. Local ( fried rice 👍🏼) and western, extensive cold cuts , good ice cream , good butter , bread, jam , honey and my fave the champagne, Bloody Mary and DIY cold press juice stations! Now that’s a vacation ! If you wanna go out for a walk , the resort is easily accessible by a sheltered walkway to the Zoo and River Wonders and Mandai broad walk. About 7mins. On the way you will seeing many new dining options that are open like Song Fa BKT , Roberta’s Pizza and more. Nice connection and gives one some dinner options too. There is an also a more exclusive fine dining place in the Resort called Forage - hope to try that one day Maybe with the more secluded tree house booking . Ok for the complains regarding air con … I must say 24 degree is ok … you can turn the air con fan option higher and the room gets quite cool . The ceiling fan can also be turned on with the air con. And you will not feel hot . The only odd thing is the control panel .. it’s touch screen so a bit sensitive. My room was ok but my parents room panel was acting weird and froze and reboot itself. So perhaps this is one area to look in especially for non tech seniors . The smart Tv also sometimes get jammed up but the service desk guided me to turn off and then turn on, hold and press for 7 seconds till the Samsung logo comes out .. it works everytime but then again I guess something the hotel have to look into. The remote is ok for most of us but again it’s has no numbers or anything on it some some may find some timeTo get used to. Water filter … it’s one of those instant heat and cool type .. very sensitive also. A tap type filtered water may prob save the hotel some headache when guests are not sure how to use. but overall manageable . Nice hairdryer and good water pressure and rain shower option. The rooms are well fitted but I would say a mix of high end and mid range materials. It’s hard to really compare BT and say Hilton or Marriot … I know it’s the same price point so maybe some of the reviews were expecting something else . Stunning views from the pool and roof garden. Overall. Highly recommend to try a stay here ! Something away from the city for a day or 2, immerse in rainforest , visit the different parks and nature. Well done and thanks to the whole team 👍🏼

Hard to get to, but very beautiful place, very clean, good facilities, friendly service. Lovely rooftop garden and pools, small but complete gym. Unfortunately called guest services twice about a misdirected day-old cake and itinerary in our room with no action taken. Eventually I had to ask helpful cleaning staff to remove it. Disappointing as I was also told I would receive a small cake for my birthday visit and nothing came.

Overall it was a good experience, an urban hideout from hustle and bustle city life here in Singapore. I tried both the buffet and breakfast at Planter's shed. But to be honest I enjoyed the breakfast as compared to the buffet. The buffet was not to my expectations. Beside the food. I enjoyed the scenic lake view and the vegetation that surrounded the resort. I would like to stay at the tree house unit on my next trip..
