Good hotel with very good location with reasonable price, the hotel is only 1km to Vivo city which is very convenient for me who have a semi nar at Sentosa for 5 days. The bus stop is just right at the front of the hotl, I usually take the bus in the morning as I don't want to sweat and either walk or take a bus to the hotel at the evening. The staff is very helpfull and fiendly.

The location is a medium-sized walk away from Harbourfront station, which is the best option from the airport, whereas the station that is technically closer requires more effort to get to, either from the airport or even from the hotel (as it has no entrances on the same side of the road as the hotel). The staff are friendly and supportive. They will do what they can to be helpful. Unfortunately, though, there were significant issues with the room I had originally. There was no luggage rack or storing area in the room as it was so small, so the luggage had to go on the bed to sort out everything in it. I was quite surprised to find out there was no hand soap or bottled water; the reason for the water was “environmental concerns”, so I would have to use the water from the bathroom sink, yet they provided me with disposable dental kits, which seems to contradict the environmental claim. The shampoo was also the body wash and was placed in what would normally be a public bathroom-style hand soap dispenser. The bathroom also “doubled” as the shower, meaning I was required to shower with the sink, toilet, and the dispensers; this was not very clear to me from what I remember reading originally, and I would have chosen a different hotel had I known this in advance. Most significantly, though, was the fact I was getting sick during my stay. I had just been getting over a cold when I left for Singapore, so I figured the temperature change would have fought to bring the cold back for a bit longer. However, I was now starting to wake up throughout the night, coughing terribly. I later thought to look up and take a closer look at what I could see and it turned out to be mould spores developing around the AC and on the ceiling. I had the AC kept on because Singapore is ALWAYS warm, so the mould could have been entering my lungs while I was sleeping. I immediately requested a change of room, but the staff member wanted me to wait until 7:30am when another staff member came in and could sort this out. I didn’t want to wait, so I showered, got dressed, packed up my things, and asked for the room to be changed while I was going to be out for the day; I could have just left the hotel completely, but it would be a challenge to get a refund and it would have ruined my plans for the day to suddenly have to start looking for a new hotel. The staff were supportive in letting me leave my luggage in storage for the day while I was out, but when I first requested the change, I am certain something could have happened then; also, I noticed that when I went down to ask to change rooms, someone (not apparently a staff member) was sleeping on the sofa in the rather tiny lobby, which I found questionable. Eventually, after returning for the evening, I was moved to a new room, which was a bit cleaner, but I have since found myself still being unwell, this time with new cold symptoms, which I am hoping to get checked out later here back at home. Overall, this hotel is neither 3* quality, as was assumed from what I read on this site, nor 2* quality, which is especially disappointing as it belongs to a major international hotel chain. It is a stretch to call this 1* in my opinion, especially considering my experiences. The chain needs to investigate this further and I intend on contacting them directly to complain about this experience. In the meantime, when looking on Trip.com for a hotel, do not trust the rankings; instead, look for the BEST possible rankings (4* or 5*), then independently research their true rankings through other sites before deciding on a suitable hotel.

Good location. Near Vivo city - great. Near to two churches, Awesome. Early check-in no guarantee though. This was not suitable for my early arrival

Staying in this hotel was a nightmare to me and my partner. TONS of different types of insects around the room (my partner got a ton of bites on his leg) and the shower sucks. Totally NOT worth for the price. Recep lady was really really sweet though - she should be promoted for her kindness and service even though it’s just a 2 star hotel. We got a free upgrade to the nearby hotel - Hotel Faber Park instead and it was so much better! Lesson learnt - Pay a little bit more for quality and satisfaction. Hotel Faber Park was actually the nicest stay out of all the hotels we stayed. Cleaner ladies was so so sweet, Recep was really nice too - always greets us whenever we are at the lobby.

Location is a bit far from the MRT station, but it reflects on the room price, $5xx/room/night is a great deal for budget travellers like me. Just 2 negative points are: the shower is set too high and not adjustable, so the water flies over my head, not my body instead. I need to hold it all the times. Also, no hook in the bath room, I need to put a stool outside and put the clothes on it.

Location is good, right at front of mount Faber, and bus stop is only 100 m away. Quiet. There are cafes and restaurants/bar right next to the hotel. Staff is friendly.
