Love how it has a bath tub to relax in, a swimming pool to chill, and the convenience of just heading down to have breakfast and late supper. There’s even a washer and a dryer that you can use! Although it’s unfortunate that Cheers opens only from 9am to 5pm. Other than that, all is good.

Nice hotel woth friendly staff. Pool is also good. 10 minutes walk from Paya Lebar MRT station and also on the way to Changi Airport.

Location is good as close to lots of food stores. Room is reasonable @ price paid for as there a rooftop med size swimming pool good for sunbathing and lap swim. (Pool needs a bit of clean up as lots of bird poop around the pool) . Aircon could be better. Service is top notch, as they respond quickly to request.

The hotel location is very convenient. There’s a lot of stores around and walking distance to a mall. The hotel itself is very nice! I was actually surprised as this was not the first time I booked hotel 81. It’s very spacious and clean. They everyday clean our room. I highly recommend them!

Overall is good. Only the aircon dropping water but they fix immediately upon request

A hotel with spacious room and lobby, friendly helpful and accomodating front desk staff, especially the lady (20th Feb 25, day shift). Although the furniture and toilet are rather "old" but everything (including aircon and TV) works fine. Appreciate the water purifier installed but complimentary bottled water probably phased out. The area is "malay-muslim friendly" with Masjid Khalid a 5mins walk away and easy to get halal food nearby and Malay cultural shopping at Joo Chiat Complex. NTUC store for everyday needs nearby opens from 7am and closes at 10pm but most shops in the area close at 7pm.

Stayed in February 2025 and the room size was quite big for a budget hotel. But the room, furniture and the hotel itself is quite old and dated with old wooden furniture and furnishings. It was fairly clean and well maintained. The bathroom was also very old and dated. The room was not very well soundproofes and it is easy to hear the noise from outside as the hotel is above a busy coffee shop. The location is very central to Joo Chiat and Geylang Serai area and about 5 to 10 mins walk to Paya Lebar MRT. Overall, this hotel is okay if there is nothing else but I would try other budget hotels that are newer.

The service is very good and all the staff are very friendly and very helpful, but the cleanliness of the rooms is very poor, overall good.

Was a decent hotel. Will come again if the budget is slightly limited. Below here there's decent food locations and locations wise it's not bad.... Room is clean but aircon a bit not so cold. The water filter also sometimes doesn't work.... Still many space for improvement

The location is very good,near to eatery. But parking is an issue

Perfect place for foreigners as it’s near the MRT station, hawkers centre & even the local market. It’s pretty affordable compared to this type of accommodations in the city centre. Also you could check in anytime, they open 24h.

Spacious and cozy room. I would rate it very good except frequent, very loud slamming of doors by neighbouring units spoiled the environment. Would suggest to install door stopper to prevent loud noise when closing the doors.
