Booked this place once out of love for my family. Came back alone to celebrate my birthday. Love it! Easy and approachable staff.

Overall, the stay at Value Hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience generally nice. However, one downside is the lack of a proper lobby or designated area for taxi pick-up and drop-off. It can be a bit inconvenient when booking rides, especially during busy hours, as drivers may have difficulty locating the exact spot.

My stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness, especially **MOULD** in the bathroom and near the air conditioning, which caused a musty smell. Furniture are oudated. The reception staff were unhelpful when I raised the issue. Had to book different Hotel next day. Overall, not a comfortable experience.

The hotel toilet is small but the sink is big, the person in shower could hit the sink easily. The sofa bed has a lot of dust, have to clean the dust when convert the soft into a bed.

The location of Value Hotel Balestier is quite nice and convenient, with easy access to nearby food places and transportation. However, the main downside of my stay was the restroom. It was noticeably smelly and had a strong unpleasant odor, similar to sewage or poop, which made using the bathroom uncomfortable. While the location is a plus, the cleanliness and smell of the restroom really need improvement.
