The Inn at Temple Street (Chinatown) recensioner

The Inn at Temple Street in Chinatown was very clean, and the location was easily accessible. The service was excellent—especially from Mrs. Amelia Goh, who was very friendly and helpful. She guided us on where to buy the things we needed. Thank you mam. I highly recommend this place for your stay. If we get the chance to return to Singapore, we will definitely book this hotel again.

Room door broke with my bag inside. I was told i could not get m bag until 10 when another employee came in.  They put me in another room but with none of my toiletries or clean clothes was desperate for a shower. I finally went down at 1030 to find out what was going on. Employee was there but chilling in back room.  No Ss given for me waiting exhausted and filthy.   The new room had the shower screen off the track and hanging by a rope. It was scary showering as the screen could fall and shatter. Also broken tiles made accidentally rubbing up against the wall perilous.   The lady who checked us in was awesome but the massive flights of stairs with no air con was taxing.   I don’t hate it but can do better for around the same price

This hotel doesn't have elevator only but it's not too high because have only 3 floors. Restroom is big and wifi is very fast. Good for stay here.

Room size relatively big for Singapore and right next to subway station. No elevator so people with lots of luggage may struggle

Singapore is the worst ever place I visited. Will never come back to this horrible country any more. To avoid it as much as possible. But the hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Overall the location, nothing else is good.

Budget stay, centre of city easy connectivity to all major attractions

Excellent location near to good food! Just be mindful that this place does not have a lift.

Better to provide adequate tea bags. Better to have screen for showing.

Overall, it was a good stay. To begin with, the location was perfect. Since it is located in Chinatown, you can easily go somewhere and get back to the hotel. In addition, the staff members at the hotel were friendly and easy to talk to. On the other hand, I experienced two negative things during my stay. One is that the hotel first let me stay in a room with no windows. Of course, you've got no sunlight coming in, and it smelled stinky. I was supposed to book a room with windows, though... However, I could change my room with windows after talking about it to the hotel. The other is that they don't have a laundry service. On trip.com, they say that this hotel has a laundry service, and that's one of the reasons why I booked this hotel. However, the staff members of the hotel told me that they didn't have it, instead, they told me to use the coin laundry across the street. For that, I ended up washing my clothes in the bathtub after getting back from my trip on the day. What I realized was that it's good if you only seek sleep. Other than that, you might not be able to expect too much. Keep in mind that the staff members are incredible and nice!
