The hotel is very clean, though the size is super small, just suites those with small figure

My regular fortnightly staycations here for the past few months. I’ve got the smallest room this time. I don’t really watch the television programs much, though..but this time round, I could actually watch a little from 1 or 2 channels! Wow.. The previous times, none were working properly at all! I’ve gotten a bigger and thicker towel too! However, my next already fully paid booking would only be sometime in May next year. Looking forward to better rooms with better amenities. Thank you.

I am now a regular. Here almost every fortnight! I love the beautiful decorations at all the common areas and the fragrance and the soft piping CHRISTian Instrumental music at certain areas. It gave me a sense of peace. This time, my bed makes creaking sounds with my every turn. Still acceptable..as I don’t really care much about that. However..your goggle boxes really cannot make it! Not a single one of them that I had were working properly! Seriously..please do something about them! No point having them there when your guests can’t even use them, right? I would rather a beautiful and inspiring picture be there instead. It’s more meaningful and I would appreciate it more. Thank you.

The location vy good ，easy to find nice food near china town

Butternut tree hotel is quite center of Singapore easy access to bus and mrt stations. Pbeat place to stay.

The room is a shoe box, you can hear everything from the front desk, staff make noise all throughout the night and early hours of the morning, no fresh air, bed up against a wall, no room for suit cases.

Friendly staff, good location, nice hotel.

Had a very pleasant stay there. Took the smallest room which has the most basic amenities needed for one person. The door wasn't very soundproof but it wasn't noisy at night anyway (despite having a lively crowd right next to the hotel). The staff was very friendly and accommodating and knew some history of the nearby buildings. Location-wise it was also quite convenient being near to the bus stop, train stations, and of course Chinatown area for shopping. Would definitely recommend this place for a short trip in Singapore.

Clean

Cleanliness is bad, toilet bowl still has tissues left over, the floor all over dust.

Pros 1. Great Location. Plenty of eatery within walking Distance. 2. Friendly Receiptionist Cons Housekeeping can be improved. I found baby cockroaches on the bed sheet. And the bed sheet are not that clean either. Pillow not too thin

Good room with nice staffs. The price is worth especially in the peak season
