A Hotel Joo Chiat recensioner

Affordable hotel in the lovely neighbourhood of Joo Chiat with great accessibility thanks to the bus stops nearby. Nothing fancy but clean, enjoyed having a fridge and a kettle for breakfast in the morning.

Don't stay there! I was injured by a spring or or metal coming through a hole in the mattress that was hidden by the sheet. The metal came through when weight was applied piercing my foot. I raised this with the staff at checkout. We had stayed there before but it has really gone downhill. I had booked another stay but lost that money rather than stay again. Cups were filthy. Staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful. There are much nicer areas to stay in Singapore.

Good room, large enough with kids. Staff are very nice and helpfull.

it was clean and good for budget hotel. just one problem, the kettle has water in it and it was still hot as if someone JUST checked out after me. the chair wasnt in place too. abit sus but overall 7/10

newly renovated hotel with spacious size of room,the only minus point is it’s really bad in sounds barrier,very clear can hear everything

For a short stay is ok. near many eateries. Transport may b abit inconvenient if you are not driving.

I booked a room with no window. The environment is humid, and the cleanliness is 3/5. The soundproofing is not that great, but for its price, it’s reasonable. Location wise is good , the bus stop just near by and go many places

legit the best hotel in singapore. spacious, clean & the vibes of the room is great.. amenities was also great, have smart tv, fridge & very comfortable place. will definitely book this hotel if i ever plan for another staycation day.

The hotel room is above my expectations, very clean, wifi is good, amenities are good (there's iron, ironing board, hair dryer & kettle), tv is good (I watched HBO while resting) and the water heater is working well. I didn't stay in the room the whole day as I was out for an event, so this room is more than enough for my trip. It was quiet at night. There's a supermarket nearby (Fair price at Jhoo Kiat Mall), there's also halal food nearby. I only ate at Nasi Lemak Hijau next to the hotel. Nice hot coffee, and toast during breakfast. Oh by the way their staff are very friendly. If you guys looking for a good budget hotel, I recommend this place.

This location is amazing and perfect as it is accessible.

The hotel was a good location all walking distance to markets, train and bus station with restaurant just outside the hotel and all around with all kinds of cuisine. The hotel was clean and the staff are nice specially the pretty lady receptionist that assisted us upon check-in. The surrounding was very nice and lively at night. If we will go back to Singapore we’ll definitely book this hotel again. The photo was taken at the lobby of the hotel. 💜

Stayed overnight here during my long layover because its near to the airport. The room is basic but clean, nice and spacious. Good service, great value for money 👍🏻

I have been here several times already. Found out that there would no longer be any Cartoon Room! Awww..would miss it dearly.. This time round, I’ve booked the single room. Had the exact same room as the last time too! Ooohh.. My family member just told me that he had to be out stationed at the eleventh hour.. Hence, I was given the duty to look after his child. Much thankful that he was allowed to stay over with me at the hotel room.
