The hotel is located in beautiful grounds. The service was impeccable. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome. We went ti Sicily to celebrate our anniversary and were upgraded to a junior suite, which was modern and spacious. Dinner was delicious and the staff couldnt do enough for you. Shuttle service to Ortigia is ideal if youre not driving. Would definitely return and absoutely recommend. See you soon. Mr & MRS AUJLA! ps we are thinking about doing our sons wedding here in the near future!!!

This hotel is a little slice of heaven, we really wanted the opportunity to relax and take a break and this place delivered. What really sets it apart is the amazing staff who cannot do enough to help you they are helpful no query/ question to big or small. Also the breakfast is AMAZING. The whole place has a relaxed, chilled vibe not so many people it feels cramped and the place is beautiful with gorgeous accessories. The room was contemporary and so clean the bedding smelt amazing. The owner is very present which is a lovely touch as really makes you feel like you matter. Food in the restuarant is amazing my husband declared he had the best beef he ever tasted here. The shuttle is great my only recommendation is this was more flexible with times. Also a shuttle to beach would be great. Would love to return some day. Thank you so much to all the staff who help keep the place amazing, you certainly made us smile.

A lovely two night stay on our travels. Everywhere you look there is extensive attention to detail in everything : the rooms, the patios, the terrace for breakfast, the restaurant by the pool and the extensive mature spread of landscaped gardens with orange and lemon groves, loungers, gazebos and extensive furnished nooks and crannies of delight. Staff are very attentive throughout and with the sun shining sitting by the pool surrounded by the gardens and diving house martins, it does indeed feel like paradise imagined. Restaurant service is attended by and overseen by the hotel owner and she adds Sicilian charm and 'old school' atmosphere to the proceedings in her personal way. It is a good distance (8 kms) from Syracuse, so transport (car or taxi) is needed if you want to venture out for sightseeing or eating although there is a shuttle bus at €15 per room that runs twice daily at 10.30 and 2.00 for 3 hours stay in town, return included although you may wish to stay longer and taxi back. No evening entertainment so this is the place for a chill out of peace and tranquility away from it all.. A great place to end our hectic two week tour around Sicily. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for - and more. So no complaints.

Amazing gem in southern Sicily. Can't fault anything as the food, service, grounds, room and pool are spot on . If you are looking to get away from it all and relax in beautiful surroundings come here. Guisy and her wonderful staff are very welcoming. We have thoroughly enjoyed our week here. This lovely hotel is highly recommended.

This was an exceptional place to relax near Siracusa. The grounds were exceptionally beautiful, with large expanses of green lawn, gorgeous pools. The owner and rest of staff were so welcoming and the meals were served in a facility draped in sheer white curtains, like something out of Arabian nights. Beautiful courtyard with lots of comfy resting places. The buffet breakfast would rival any top chef...so much to choose from. Comfy rooms and not all the same. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing spot while visiting this area.

This is a great full service resort hotel. The friendliest staff and a lot of them. The room was quaint and the bathrrom was a good size. It is extremely clean. The breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want and a lot.of it. They packed us a to-go breakfast on day because we were leaving very early. We highly recommend this resort. Make no mistake this is s superb hotel with excellent facilities and the resturant is brilliant. The main accolation has to be the staff who were not onlt attentive but knowledgable and extrememly helpful. The shuttle bus service was also excellent but to allow full sightseeing and access to Siracusa and especially Ortigia the hours of running could be extended. To explore away from these two areas a hire car is essential and as with all Italian areas the minor roads need an assured brave driver (& passengers)

So much has already been said about this beautiful hotel, but it really is very special. We are a mature couple who have travelled to Sicily several times previously so we really just wanted to spend our time reading, relaxing and enjoying good food and wine and the hotel certainly delivered in all areas. The staff without exception were all wonderful, service always with a smile and we enjoyed our chats with them so much. My husband celebrated his birthday and they made him feel very special. We were well aware that the hotel was situated in the countryside, but did not feel the need to hire a car, but took advantage of the hotel shuttle service to Syracuse and Ortigia, but we were always happy to return to the tranquility of Borgo Pantano. Much has been written about the wonderful breakfast and indeed it is a feast, but I would also like to mention the evening dinner, we stayed half board and were able to select 3 courses from either the daily special menu or the al la carte. I can honestly say the dinner was superb and the risotto was the best I have ever tasted, all accompanied by some great Sicilian wines. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable.
