This was our favorite property during our road trip of Sicily! The room was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The gardens are idyllic for a lovely breakfast and to relax in the evening among ancient ruins. The property is conveniently located opposite the archeological park and within walking distance to the island of Ortigia. The property also offers free car park, which is quite rare in Syracuse. Sebiana, Dario and all the staff were absolutely amazing, very welcoming and attentive. They provided us with lots of useful information about local beaches, places of interest and restaurants. I wish we could have stayed longer and would stay there again without hesitation.

What a lovely place to stay. Well positioned to walk from. Superb, friendly and informative hosts. Delicious breakfast served in courtyard garden. Very comfortable and spacious room. Plenty of hot water and efficient air con. Would definitely return.

Thank you Sebiana and Dario for a fantastic 2 night stay. You are so willing to share with your guests, everything Siracusa has to offer. Your hotel is unique like no other, sitting in the heart of an archaeological area with remains of ancient greece on your property. We loved breakfast served on the outdoor patio, loved our room and loved the hospitality you offer. We felt like family!

So lucky to find this charming hotel when browsing TA the day before arriving in Siracusa. Beautifully restored villa, very conveniently situated close to the Parc Atcheologico. Sebiana greeted us when we arrived and couldn’t have been more helpful. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 4 couples and stayed at Dimora Archimedea for 2 nights. Wish we could have stayed longer. This is a true gem in Siracusa. Dario and Sebiana greeted us when we arrived and were such wonderful hosts! The accommodations were superb and the grounds were impeccable. There are actual ruins in their back yard. Parking on site was a plus as there wasn't much parking nearby. The breakfast was wonderful and they helped us with things to do in the area and gave us printed out maps for the sights. Truly one of the best places we stayed on our 3 week trip to Italy and Sicily.

A real gem, ideal for who, like us, is primarily interested in the Greek and Roman history of Syracuse. It is located immediately adjacent to the Archeological park and near the Archeological Museum and interesting catacombs. The Dimora's suites are spacious and comfortable and the garden containing some ancient burial sites carved into the rock is a very attractive place for a quite breakfast. Staff, in particular Dario, are most helpful when you experience minor problems unrelated to the Dimora or just have questions!

Stayed In Dimora Archimedea for 2 night and was absolutely wonderful Firstly, Sebiana was amazing and helped get the most out our time in Syracuse. She was very professional and approachable which when we came to ask for suggestions, she enhanced our stay so much. We we're provided PDF's via whatsapp of maps, guides, place to eat and drink etc. But Sebiana was able to go more in-depth and for any specifics that you want. We also had an issue with the Toll road journey which she able to ring up and help with the issue. We were in the suite which was wonderful. Had a slight issue with the hot water but once notified to the staff was fixed pretty promptly. Bed was very comfortable, great wifi and a smart tv where we were able to log into Netflix. Location is great for the archaeological area which is around the corner. Ortigia island is around a 30min walk or a 10min drive. Overall, an amazing property and very enjoyable, would recommend.

A quality small hotel almost inside the archeological site of Siracusa with a fantastic outside space for breakfast or just sitting. Family run by an extremely helpful Sicilian couple who go out of their way to ensure a good stay. English or Italian spoken. It is about a 30 min walk from Ortigia but it is easy to find and the bus frequent. The road is busy but it didn’t affect our sleep or stay. We stayed three nights and would definitely book again. Highly recommended.

Our hosts were so so helpful - always happy to research things for us and give us information. The breakfast was lovely and filling and our room was beautiful. The location of the hotel is brilliant - right next to the main ruins of Syracuse, and there are even some caves in the hotel garden!
