We absolutely loved our stay at 34 State Luxury Suites! Katie is a sweet and gracious host and had done an amazing job maintaining and decorating this beautiful, historic home! The bedding is amazing and the quiet, peaceful atmosphere made it feel like home away from home. It's also conveniently located within close walking distance of downtown.

Our stay was everything I imagined from the beautiful photos! The room was beautiful, serene and welcoming! I loved all the Mackenzie Childs! The bathroom was perfect, amazing shower- bed was so comfortable, and my daughter and I had a perfect escape! Can’t say enough about it except we will be back! The town is adorable with great shopping and restaurants!

If I ever had the opportunity to buy a century home, decorate it and be featured in a magazine because it was so cool, this house would fit in the dream! Walking distance to downtown, extras such as self service ice and coffee and friendly owner!

With no availability at Mirabeau I found the Barrow Suite at 34 State. What a great find The room is beautiful and well appointed. The details are all there, excellent bedding, marble bathroom, and lovely sitting room. The walk to town is pleasant and brings you right in the middle of town We were able to get massages in our room. The massage Therapist Beth was very good and professional. I would highly recommend this beautiful inn

We got a gift certificate for our 50th anniversary and stayed in the Barrow suite. The rooms were large and stately with wide pine plank floors from days gone by. Big selection of pillows from soft to very firm. Our bath was large and appeared to have been completely redone recently. Very swank! The "do it all" coffee machine threw us a curve but Katie was there in minutes to save the day. Katie provided a wonderful hot breakfast on the porch. Very relaxing setting. We had the best stay at 34 State on our 3rd visit to Skaneateles! The suites are spacious, very comfortable and private. The location cannot be beat, you are just blocks from the main drag in the Village. Katie and her team were very kind and helpful with anything we needed during our stay - she even had a pair of paddle boards for us to use on the lake for an afternoon. Snacks and coffee in the little shared kitchen were a lovely perk as well. Can’t say enough positive things about our experience. Will certainly stay at 34 State again on a future visit back to Skan.

The beauty and old-fashioned charm of 34 State simply can’t be beat. We had a gorgeous suite equipped with luxurious bathrobes, TeaTree shampoo and conditioner, and many other little things that add up to make your stay magical. We also really loved the front porch that was just for visitors. I spent some time on the pillow-covered porch swing almost every morning. The professionally landscaped flowers were stunning and added to having breakfast outside. The complimentary breakfast bar was incredible. We had our pick of coffee, tea, orange juice, a variety of cereals, Greek yogurt, and more. There were also snacks provided that we could grab on our way out. The entire home was just stunning. It was like going back in time with the luxury of today added in. If we’re ever back in Skaneateles, we would definitely want to stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights in the Barrow suite. Everything was perfect. The rooms and common space are tastefully decorated and very well maintained and cleaned. Skaneateles is a great base to explore the area. The snacks and breakfast items were all we needed in the morning. We will be back.
