Hotel Korali

We've stayed in Skiathos 5 times now (although this was our first time in Troulos) and this has been my favourite hotel so far. We requested a room on a higher floor in advance of our stay, and we were given a great room on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. The room was spacious, nice decor, it had a safe, air con, small kitchen (although we only used the fridge). bathroom was very nice with a large walk-in shower, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable! We couldn't have been happier. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choice (eggs, meat, pastries, cereal, fruit etc.) The pool area was very nice and peaceful. We were here at the end of September and never had a problem getting a sunbed. The hotel is very close to Troulos beach which is lovely. Although the beach fills up very quickly. I would imagine you'd have to get there very early during peak season to get a spot. The buses are very convenient, stop is right outside the hotel and run very frequently into the early hours. We used it most days to visit other beaches/resorts and Skiathos town. Some very nice restaurants in Troulos, we especially enjoyed Ratatouille and Victoria (although we never had a bad meal wherever we ate). All in all, this was a great hotel in a great location and we really enjoyed our week staying here. I recommend visiting Agia Eleni beach (near Koukounaries) and staying until sunset, it's quite magical! Also, Marmita in Skiathos town is fantastic for a meal (especially their baklava cheesecake).

Hotel Korali was spotlessly clean, staff are very friendly and welcoming, Alex is amazing, he works all day every day and is very helpfull and attentive, the housemaid is lovely too, we enjoyed a giggle together. The breakfast was plentiful each morning, the beach is a stone throw away, very good for snorkelling. The pool area at Hotel Korali is lovely and clean, my 9 year old would spend each moment we had at the hotel in the pool. As a family of 4 we are already looking to book Hotel Korali again for next year. The supermarket is right on the hotels door step along with Gyros Nimos lovely wee Gyros/bar, very cheap and again the staff work tirelessly every day. The bus stop is right outstide too and is stop 20. 3 euros each for the bus to take you to the last stop at the port in Skiathos Town.

We have just got back from a wonderful week at this hotel. The staff were all amazing, so very friendly and they really wanted you to enjoy your holiday. The cleaning lady was really lovely and did a fabulous job. The room was cleaned every day and bed linen and towels changed four times a week. The whole of the complex is immaculate, swimming pool was always being cleaned and our room was spotless. Around the pool we always managed to get a bed. The sun beds were very comfortable. Location is very good. It is next to a fabulous beach, supermarket and local bus stop to town. I would throughly recommend this lovely accommodation.

Our second stay in two years. Unusual for us as we like to keep trying new places in Greece. However, we'd so enjoyed Skiathos, and particularly the Korali, we broke our rule. Glad we did as our second visit was as good as the first. A warm welcome from Rania and all the staff (who had to cope with major flooding last year), and the now familiar laid back atmosphere. Everything works, but without drama - for the guest it really is the most relaxing experience. As others have said, a nice pool area, decent breakfast, simple but comfortable rooms - for us it really is perfect. A lot of had work going on in the background of course, and I'd like to mention our housekeeper, Marietta, especially. Our room was kept absolutely spotless and she was without fail friendly and cheerful whenever we saw her, despite putting in long hours in hot weather. We appreciated it, Marietta - thank you. If you're looking for a comfortable and friendly place to stay, with staff who will make you feel welcome, look no further. With the beach a few minutes walk away, and all that Troulos and Skiathos have to offer on hand, you'll be hard pressed not to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Korali. We booked direct with the hotel so they provided the airport transfer which was a nice touch. As requested we had a top floor room with a spacious balcony. We had two rooms with a small kitchen area with fridge and two hob plates. The bath room, although small, was adequate. The cleaner was such a lovely lady and cleaned our room daily - we had fresh towels and replenished toiletries every day. We only stayed for a week but had clean sheets about 4 times. We stayed on a b & b basis. The breakfast was fresh with variety - fresh fruit, meats, bread & pastries, yogurt, eggs, bacon, cheeses etc. The patio area was lovely to eat our beak fast every morning. The pool area was very modern and spotlessly clean. We often saw the pool guy in the morning cleaning the area and ensuring the pool water was safe. This is not a large hotel so we always found a sunbed even when returning mid afternoon. On our last day we are able to keep our room until 1:30pm as we had an evening flight. We used the hotel shower room(s) early evening before we departed. They were very clean and spacious. The hotel is a three minute walk from a gorgeous sandy beach. You do need to get there really early if you want a sunbed. There are plenty of beach restaurants and also the Troulos Bay Hotel restaurant on the beach for food and drinks. There’s a supermarket next door and it’s very well stocked at reasonable prices. If you fancy gyros then the little cafe/takeaway next to the supermarket is very good! We used the bus from outside the hotel (bus stop 20) to get to Skiathos Town. It took 20 minutes and cost 3 euros each way. The bus does get busy and you often have to stand. The only slight negative for us was that there was no atmosphere in the evening at the hotel. We weren’t expecting loud music or a party but they have a lovely bar / patio area that wasn’t being utilised. If we had been out for a meal and wanted a night cap we went across the road to Edem Studios. There’s so much to do in Skiathos and we wishes we had stayed for longer. The monastery is worth a visit and of course Skopelos for the Mamma Mia church. We also visited Agia Eleni beach for the sunset, the house from Home Greek Home and hired a car to drive round the island. We loved Skiathos and will definitely be back. I would recommend this hotel as spotlessly clean and good value for money.

2 hours ago on Google A quiet hotel with a good location near the beach and the Kukinaris-Skiathos city bus stop. We were in a superior studio, it has everything you need - TV, air conditioning, terrace, safe, equipped kitchenette and bathroom. It is clean, every day the maids make the bed, clean and stock everything you need - towels, shampoos... The breakfast is modest, but enough, only the coffee is terrible, if you want good coffee you can buy it at the bar for 3 euros. There is also a pool, we didn't visit it, it's quite small...and we're not fans of non-mineral pools. The staff are friendly, the first night there was some confusion with our reservation and we were put in a junior suite, the next day the maid moved our luggage to the studio we reserved and we received a bottle of nice white wine! Great holiday at Hotel Coralli on the beautiful island of Skiathos!
