The Plough Inn was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless! I had the best nights sleep ever because it’s so nice and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious also, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Parking is free and plentiful. Would love to visit it again. A lovely, cosy Yorkshire dales vibe.

We happened to stop here by chance. Well what can we say. This is a hidden gem. Food is out of this world compliments to the chef, staff attentive and friendly and its so laid back as they don't rush you so it's really relaxing. Great for children to.

We went to the plough for a family meal /treat and the food was absolutely lovely, the menu had a good choice from meat fish and veggie and there was a good choice of drinks. I had the foraged mushroom pot for starters and such a simple ingredient as mushrooms was co flavoursome. We all throughly enjoyed the are selfs and the staff really helped make the evening.

What an amazing find! We visited for an evening meal and were blown away. This is a lovely country pub, the food is absolutely fantastic (some of the best we’ve had) and the staff are so friendly! Highly recommended! We will definitely return if we are in the area.

From the minute we arrived until we left the service and attention was outstanding. There were four in our small group and all agreed we would visit again soon The food was unbeatable with a great choice available You must give them a try I would recommend you book in advance to avoid disappointment

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Plough. Everything about our stay at the Plough was perfect from start to finish. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Rooms very comfortable and clean. Food was excellent, good value and well presented with care. Thank you and well done to all the staff at the Plough.

Stayed here by chance when working in the area and all I can say is that it is fabulous Rooms are extemely comforyable and finished to a really high standard Staff really friendly and the food is excellent I would go out of my way to stay here if I find myself in the area again
