The Hilltop Inn

We needed a place, and when I called, they had availability. It was clean and things worked. I think they should move the open garbage container that was directly in front of the air conditioner outside our room--to a new location. There are also no amenities, other than a TV, microwave and refrigerator. They have coffee in the morning, but it appeared there was only one pot and someone emptied it before I got there at 7am. No one was available at checkout, so myself and another person left our keys on the counter.

Called a week in advance to book a room owner refused to take a credit card number to reserve my room with the promise that when I got there a room would be available in my name. I called her 2 days before my arrival date to make sure that my room was still available and was told that a group of guys came in and booked all her rooms so I no longer had a reservation. I tried to explain that I needed a room while in town for work (which is why I called in advanced) and was rudely told that she couldn’t help me and there were no rooms available until December then proceeded to hang up on me.
