Super quiet location but easy walking distance to the bay and the wonderful selection of shops and restaurants. Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff most helpful. Lovely to have a cool off in the relaxing pool area after a busy day. Would recommend this accomodation.

Very good location, only 10 minutes walk to sea front In restaurants. Spotless clean hotel with helpful stuff especially Diego Who was very helpful at all times. Nice breakfast and good value. If we have the opportunity we'll stay there again with pleasure.

Perfectly comfortable hotel, large room with balcony overlooking pool. Bed & pillows just right with air con when needed. Basic breakfast every morning. Short walk to a number of bars & restaurants (as out of season many of the local bars not always open) but with an 8 min walk to Valletta ferry location great and overall v good value.

Fantastic hotel! Highly recommend! Location is very central and easy to get everywhere! Rooms are lovely, clean and comfortable and the staff are amazing! Friendly, professional and guest centered! Will definitely stay again when back!

Wonderful place to stay. Very quiet, clean and staff could not have been any more helpful. They made us feel welcome and helped a lot when it came to directions and suggestions for things to see/ do and places to eat. Hotel itself is a 2 min walk from a small supermarket, kebab house and road side 'grab and go' type places for pastries and pizza, a 15 minute walk to the ferry to Valletta and a 10 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Lovely, safe and friendly place to stay. Would highly recommend a drink in the step down bar a few minutes walk from the hotel as well as pasta in 'Fasta' on the water front. Valletta also a must as well as a visit to Gozo. Thoroughly enjoyed Malta, lots to see and do, lots of history and lovely places to have food and drinks after long day exploring. We had a balcony room, only downsides I can mention, which is scraping the barrel! Is that our sun loungers didn't have toppers (they are plastic) so quite uncomfortable and the WiFi isn't the best.

We had a lovely stay in a beautifully renovated Maltese Palazzo. Exceptionally clean and well appointed room. Very comfortable bed and a lovely modern shower room. The breakfast area is comfortable and the breakfasts were very good. The staff are so helpful and always available. Nothing was too much trouble. A great location on a peninsula so options of different waterfront were close by. Hotel is located uphill from sea level. One day the lift was faulty but was soon fixed within the hour meaning the 3rd floor room was accessible again (I walk with 2 sticks). The only downside was that at this late time of year the pool area was always in shade and the pool water was very cold.

Enjoyed our stay & found all the staff helpful & very accommodating. Walk to the harbour is about 15 minutes. Our room was comfortable & spacious & included a balcony. Breakfast was included each day. Great having a pool after sight seeing - it is only small & has 8 lounges so be early! My only complaints would be our shower had very little pressure & the bathroom lighting was inadequate- impossible to do your makeup. Breakfast needs to be more varied - it was the same selection every day & could be improved with some changes.

We stayed in the annex across the road from the hotel which was really quiet. Such a comfy bed (haven’t slept that well for ages!) great shower and everything was very clean. The tea and coffee in the room was a welcome bonus. Great location too.

We have just returned from a week's stay at this hotel and have very mixed feelings about it to be truthful. At first the hotel seemed to deliver everything we had hoped for. It is located in an old Maltese house, in a quiet side street and in a traditional residential neighbourhood. We were given access to our room before check-in time which was great. Our (standard) room was however one of two located just behind the breakfast room. The curtains had to be kept closed at all times to prevent guests having breakfast outside from looking in which made it dark and dingy and we were woken up by the preparations for breakfast every morning. A lot of people on here have commented on the lack of privacy in the bathroom which I would agree with. The mattress and pillows are memory foam which you either love or dislike (we don't like it very much) and I would say that the bedding, towels etc were not up to 4☆ quality. The room was clean however and the cleaning/breakfast room staff couldn't have been nicer/more helpful. The same can't be said about one member in particular of the reception staff who was very unhelpful and rude when asked for excursion recommendations while being very diligent with a group of his own compatriots! All in all a mixed bag and I would probably not return to this hotel when in Malta.
