This was a nice surprise. These are part of the university campus but all geared up for the aparthotel set up. Friendly helpful staff on arrival who escort you to your apartment and explain all. There is a shop on site so you can get all essentials. The apartment we had consisted of 3 double bedrooms and open plan living/dining/kitchen. All had great views of the lake. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It is a short drive into Sligo but there appears to be a bus service too.

Surrounding areas and views just gorgeous . Apartments very spacious have everything you need. We went kayacking on lake organised at reception and was brilliant . Two negatives .. beds are too hard and a few fluffy pillows are badly needed. Need for some string smelling cleaning products building smells musty .. not dirty just musty

Great location and quiet / Friendly staff… BUT… extremely SMELLY and outdated (noisy toilets)!! And then check-in at 4pm and check-out at 9.30am??? Really??? Will never go back or recommend. For RoI/Sligo this is very cheap and you will get what you pay for — THE BASIC of the VERY BASIC!!

We had a wonderful stay at St. Angelas apartments. We were met on the first day by Jeremiah and shown to our apartment. It was like home away from home. It had everything you would need to stay away , including towels, hairdryer, and It was spotlessly clean. There is a shop onsite that's half a regular shop and half a Health food shop. Delighted to see that. Jeremiah has a brochure on the coffee table with lots of good ideas and places to visit which was extremely useful. I would recommend the apartments to anyone going to Sligo, they are about 10 minutes outside the town so you do need transport to get around.

Such a lovely place to stay with amazing views over Lough Gill. Apartments have everything you need and are spotless. Perfect for touring and so comfortable. Has a great gym too. Lovely walks close by

I can’t believe the apartments are described as luxury. The paint is peeling, faded and washed out looking like something from the communist era. Inside furnishings are from the fifties-nasty cheap accommodation We had a view of the Carpark rather than the lake as shown in all the promotional literature The whole place is creepy and in need of drastic renovations-so disappointed

Stayed in one of the apartments here for around a week. We were greeted by Jeremiah, who was very helpful and thorough going through all the details of the place. Edward too, was lovely a really nice chap, with infinite amounts of knowledge about the area, and more.. My apartment was block C, apt 6, so the view was limited sadly. Still you could access the roof and enjoy the amazing view from there. The room itself has a large TV with YouTube etc.. Great WiFi too. The kitchen has everything you could need, and it was nice to have fridge, freezer, microwave etc.. The lake was a wonderful place to go and chill, and the whole place was very peaceful with the birds singing at dawn and dusk. There is a nice little shop too, and launderette (3x€2) where you will most likely find help from Alexandrs or Christiana. Great time staying here!! Thanks to all there 💯

Excellent accommodations for group stay. Party of 8 has 4 en-suite double bedrooms for week long stay. Great facilities and friendly staff. Ten minutes drive to centre of Sligo with amazing scenery and great beaches and mountains close by.

I arrived after a 4 hour drive to be informed they had double booked the accommodation. No apology, no sympathy for the fact that I had my small son with me. The couple in front of me with a small baby were given the same story. Jeremiah the host was spectacularly flippant and semi aggressive, merely repeating ‘issues have arisen’. He simply did not care a jot, he was unrepentant and suggested that it was my fault for not checking my email. I had received no email to tell me of a cancellation. A most unpleasant and condescending man. I didn’t get to see the apartment, however the outside of the buildings appeared extremely run down and the whole place seemed a bit sad. A more disappointing and frustrating experience couldn’t be imagined.
