Super 8 by Wyndham Smoky Lake

I really was pleasantly surprised with my stay. The bed was great and firm and the sheets smelled like they were hung on the line. I really appreciated that the most. Definitely would stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this property. It is conveniently located as it is just off the highway. It is next to a gas station & huge convenience store which has a cafe. SUPER clean and spacious room, laminate flooring & large screen TV. The beds/pillows were SO comfortable and we appreciated the clean white linens. The bathtub area is nicely tiled and had lots of hot water. Fluffy white towels. Breakfast was offered at the cafe next door and we were able to pick pre-made items and coffee. There was only a few things that we would have liked….there was no microwave or clock. The desk chair was ripped & the lounge chair was stained otherwise we would have given it five stars.

I have never had something like this happen before. I phoned in July to book a month in advance. I did mention that I was late booking from the date that rooms would be held on the wedding invitation. Nothing was expressed to me as far as that being a concern and I booked a room for two for one night. I received a call today the day before we go up for the wedding. The person on the other end of the phone told me that when I phone to book I told them to cancel someone's reservation and put myself in and they are overbooked and so because I did that there's no room for us. I never have and never would do something like that! It's bad enough that there isn't a room but then to accuse me of doing something underhanded is really infuriating!

this place is a good stop if you're travelling in this part of Alberta. very accommodating staff even in the late night or very early morning (you can access help with the rooms from the adjoining Esso gas station). Will definitely come back here if im in this area. very clean too!

Very comfortable beds .Gas station.And Liquor store all there We all are from Calgary staying here. It's the beautiful people in Smoky Lake. Very good at there jobs. And so nice and service with a huge smile you won't be disappointed staying here. Yours truly Nathan Loo

Super clean. Awesome large mini fridge. Very comfortable bedding. And loved the mini-Dove products in the bathroom! Good service at front desk also, I went and asked for 1 more body lotion and he gave me a handful. Really exceeded my expectations.
