ATM Centre Hotel

Nice place and very friendly staff..

Struttura carina. Abbiamo fatto un soggiorno di 3 notti. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Deysy che è la receptionist e stata carinissima con noi .sempre sorridente e ci ha aiutato tantissimo. A lei un bel voto 10.ci ha aiutato a muoverci nella città traducendo la mappa in italiano. La struttura è a 10 minuti a piedi della metropolitana.

Avoid, avoid!!! Rooms are terrible. Customer service and hospitality are even worse. The amenities include scuffed up floors; old/nasty furniture; beds are falling apart and rattle; air conditioning does not work; shower does not fit bracket, just dangles from hose, and cannot be attached to slide bar ; shower drains empty slowly; table cloths in dining room have not been washed in a long time. Staff is rude and argumentative. After emailing hotel about service issues did not hear back, indicating managements couldn’t care less. Much better hotels available near airport that also offer shuttle service. Plus I found taxies in Sofia to be relatively inexpensive. Alternatively metro costs $1, just tap your card and go. After staying here I need to bump up all the other one star reviews I have given by 1.5 stars. The ATM hotel will set a new bottom bar for customer service and hospitality.

We were visiting Sofia for a few days and stayed at this hotel. We were greeted in the restaurant by Rosen, he was most helpful and provided excellent customer service and answered any questions we had. The room was very well sized and the orthopedic beds were a nice touch allowing position to be comfortable

Upon arrival, our group and I had an eerie feeling. Turns out the weird vibe was caused by the energy of the ex-hospital (probably insane asylum) that is now the ATM hotel. Yes, you read that right. If you want to check the credibility of that statement just look at the entrance of the hotel (it looks like the entrance for an emergency admission), when you look at the building it's built like a hospital, and when you go to the rooms the windows are completely shut, no fresh air for you! Even the beds are from the ex-hospital, you can use that remote thing that's used for correcting how the bed can stand and move it how you want. The lobby of the hotel has a waiting room for hospitals look - still! And in the cafeteria, you don't use your plate or the tray to put food on it, no, no, as it's built like a hospital, the cafeteria also stayed, so the cafeteria ladies are the ones putting food on your plate and tray on the other side of the glass. This wasn't particularly 'horrible' but it was definitely weird and my first time seeing it (and I've been to hotels). The bathroom was durable. I've experienced worse, but my friends were not quite happy or satisfied with needing to use the shower, especially. As goes for the food, I really wanted it to be good, but unfortunately, it was rather cold, had an odd taste most of the time and when having breakfast there weren't many options, but you could make a simple sandwich, so that's at least good! Next on to the staff, there are a few receptionists, one lady is very nice and warm and had no problem helping us with anything, but the other lady had an attitude, didn't want to help and just wanted to be left alone in peace ON her job... The other weird thing in this creepy place are the cameras, there is a camera every few steps you make, the wide lens one, so I don't get the need for having so SO many... You will probably feel spied on tho. I really wouldn't recommend this place to anyone... If you really reaaaally needed to stay near Sofia and for quite cheap, then do it but be aware of all the things mentioned in this review...

Negative- Rooms-ventilation sistem brings inside of the room cigarette smoke, jacuzzi not working and it was stuck, water pressure non existent, beds not comfortable, hospital beds with remote, we taught it might been hospital before and they didn’t change the beds, windows are not opening, the cables are not hidden are everywhere in the room. You have a kitchen but nothing to use it, no pots, cutlery no chinaware. Stains in the wall, air conditioning was noisy that we had to stop it. Breakfast A joke, one table with cheese cucumbers and tomatoes, bread and croissants, coffee disgusting if you want espresso you have to pay or bottle water you have to pay again. Table were with red tablecloth full of crumbs and stains most probably for days were not changed. The picture takes you back in 1980 in a communist country the only difference is the flat tv and coffee machine. Positive Uhh I really want to find something. Position close to airport and 10 min walk from metro.
