Cambridge Beaches Resort and Spa

Wife and I returned home last night from a great six-night stay at Cambridge Beaches to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were in Sunrise (room 243) which was very spacious and well appointed with a beautiful view of Mangrove Bay. We especially loved the patio with the lounge chairs! The food at all four restaurants (Pastel, Shoreline, Sunken Harbor, and Breezes) was excellent. My favorite meals were the Island Spiced Rack of Lamb (dinner at Breezes) and the Mushroom Crusted Fillet of Beef (dinner at Sunken Harbor). Wife and I went to the gym for a workout. The gym is small but had adequate weight and exercise machines for a complete workout. I also got a massage at the Spa and it was wonderful! The resort is beautiful and has a wonderful staff. From the front desk staff, concierge, and restaurant wait staff everyone was warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. We want to give a special mention of Monique for all her help and advice of the resort and Bermuda. We spent our honeymooon in Bermuda at another resort and have not returned since then. Returning to Cambridge Bridges is definitely in our plans in the near future. I highly recommend staying here. You won't regret it!

Beautiful quiet resort with lovely views of the beautiful ocean, updated private rooms, beaches on property, food was amazing. Only disappointment was the excessive wine corkage fee and wine tax at the restaurant. Totally unnecessary.

Arriving to Cambridge Beaches, you’re immediately greeted with a welcome drink and a smile. Easy check in process and a nice golf cart ride to our cottage. Our cottage was so well maintained and decorated. The decor is so well done. We had a thoughtful gift waiting for us, a nice bottle of rum swizzle. How nice of them to have that in the room. Let’s not forget to mention the bucket of ice that’s filled every day, the little things matter! The bed is so comfortable, that I found myself taking an afternoon nap every day. Restaurants, breakfast was okay. I only say that because of the “fluffy” pancakes. Sorry not fluffy! Everything else was great, including the friendly service. Thank you Monique and all staff for making our dining experience fun and enjoyable. Now, you must go to Sunken Harbor club for dinner! Everything and I mean everything from cocktail's, food and service were perfection! We definitely recommend Cambridge Beaches for a beautiful getaway/vacation. Plan ahead to rent boat or electric car. 24 hours in advance is needed

You can’t go wrong staying here. Exceptional service, clean, private, quiet. Comfortable room with incredible views. Excellent room service and dining options on the resort. We rented a boat right from the resort and took it around the island. While we did see a few kids there we were glad not to have ours with us because I think they are young would have been bored as there aren’t many planned activities. Greeted with a swizzle and golf cart ride to our room. Tea time in the after noons. Top notch room service were all highlights! As well as the infinity pool overlooking the ocean with service from the bar!! 10/10

My wife and I just returned from paradise! The Cambridge was absolutely beautiful and staff was amazing. The ocean view room was breathtaking. Having coffee with that view was perfect. Every meal was 5 star. Beaches were clean and pool had plenty of lounges. Can’t say enough how beautiful Cambridge and Bermuda was. Thanks!

My husband and I just returned from our first trip to Bermuda and a four night stay at Cambridge Beaches. The information we received in advance, helped us to pre-book our airport taxi transportation, and made us aware of the expected cost. Right from the start, everything was excellent! The grounds are beautiful, clean and well maintained. We were especially delighted with our room at Westerly point and spent a lot of time out on the lovely balcony overlooking the bay. Sunsets were 100%!! We would be very pleased to stay in this room again upon our return. We ate and drank at all of the restaurants and enjoyed some of the local dishes. Making reservations in advance was helpful. Some other guest gave us a tip of walking down to the liquor store to purchase bottles of wine, etc, which was very helpful. Yes, the cost of food and drink is high but if you plan ahead, you can make some adjustments like this. Next time I will remember to bring a water bottle to refill, as we spent a pretty penny on bottled water daily. My only wish for food would be a few more options like salads, sandwiches, maybe cheese and fruit plates. Something lighter and easy. We did not visit the gym, indoor pool or spa, but those would have been good options had our weather not been perfect every day. One day we went to Hamilton via the ferry, the others we just enjoyed the pool, ocean, beaches and relaxing on our patio. We had no trouble finding lounge chairs or a private spot to be alone. I would be remiss not to mention how friendly, helpful and happy all of the staff were!! They truly went over and above to provide great service. We witnessed many instances of this. For example, I was pleased when the front desk called to arrange our taxi ride to the airport. I’ll be recommending Cambridge to my friends and we look forward to returning some day.

We went as a family of 13 (5 kids 8 adults) and after a bit of a snafu with room assignments (reception couldn't figure out what beds to put in which rooms and were unpleasant about it), we all had lovely suites next to each other with great views. Housekeeping was helpful where reception was not and provided extra cots as needed. We spent 2 days enjoying the resort which had two restaurants to chose from, one pool, one beach to enjoy. And then things went downhill. 2 days into our stay, during our breakfast we were alerted there was an emergency with our room. Due to the recent storm, our room sustained water damage and part of the celling had fallen down into the room. As thankful as I was that it didn't happen while my daughter was sleeping, since it fell onto her cot, the situation was not good. Every single step of the way, we had to ask management multiple times to help. There was no offers to fix this situation with any sort of efficiency. First, we had to ask them to launder the clothes that were now covered in dust. Next, we found out our room was being downgraded to a smaller room, and told we were lucky it was even available since the hotel was booked yet someone left early. We were also told it would be ready at 3pm that day, same as everyone else checking in. WHY they wouldn't attempt to prioritize getting the room ready sooner is beyond me. After checking in with management multiple times about the room and the laundry, we finally were able to get into our new room. My husband and I were then tasked with packing and moving our things ourselves with no offer to help. Once I called management, the manager reluctantly sent someone and herself to come help but she let it be known that she was not pleased to be moving our items in the rain. She begrudgingly offered to comp us the 2 nights stay for our new room but couldn't seem to grasp the concept that one day of vacation we paid for was being interrupted by trying to get help with this scenario. She just said it was a very busy day for her, and other people were complaining about checking in and thus she couldn't prioritize helping us, AS THOUGH WHAT HAPPENED WAS OUR FAULT! I was just shocked at the lack of just basic customer service. While waiting to speak to reception another patron and I were swapping problem stories about the management and lack of assistance, so I clearly wasn't the only one trying to get help (I of course won the round of "what's wrong with your room") . So basically I will say buyer beware and cross your fingers no issues arise during your stay because it will be on you to deal with!

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. There were many accommodations including the spa, two restaurants, and two private beaches. The snorkeling was excellent and the food at the restaurants was very good. Staff were helpful and willing to help. If was overall clean and beautiful.

such a lovely place! they took wonderful care of us. we always came back to a clean room, the maids were the sweetest! the grounds were gorgeous & well cared for as well. there were so many opportunities to experience bermuda in a different way. the location was also perfect for us. i truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
