Davis Square Inn

This delightful inn has a super location and everything you need has been anticipated and addressed. We were extremely pleased and since Boston is one of our favorite cities we will certainly book again!

This place was perfect for visiting Boston. It is in a friendly old neighborhood located a few blocks from Davis Square and near Tufts University where many college students are often seen. The room was very nice with a great shower. A short walk to the subway where you can get on the Red Line, which travels straight to Boston and Harvard, and go just about anywhere on it without having to move your car once! Davis Square is very nice and has some good places to eat. Breakfast is continental style with many choices. If you are visiting Boston, this is the place to stay!

The Davis Inn was lovely to stay at. Close by a lot of coffee cafes, bars , and a grocery store. The house self is in well taken care of beautiful inside and out. Ron one of the owners was very helpful and communicated well and was very helpful. There is breakfast options with Eggs, Yogurt and Bannas and cereal and etc. Perfect location for a New England get away . There is TV with Roku in it so can watch Netflix and Hulu. The Davis Station for the Train is right around the corner a five minute walk at most. Would definitely stay again when visiting Boston Metro

I stayed in the smallest room of the house, on the third floor, and enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable with a small fridge and a desk (really appreciated!), the shared bathroom was clean, large, and the shower really good. It was fun sitting with the other guests for breakfast. There were plenty of options for breakfast, and there are a lot of restaurants just a few minutes of walk away from the inn. Two subway lines are easily reachable on foot, Somerville looks like a safe neigborhood and it has a nice vibe. The innkeeper was friendly, sadly I didn't see the cat. I had no trouble checking in and out.

Wonderful stay I had a lovely time at the Davies Inn. It was really quaint and comfortable. My room was nice , the bed was really comfortable. I really enjoyed the daily coffee French press at breakfast . Definitely recommend if you look for something quiet

The hotel is a charming B&B in a safe and quiet area, with convenient access to the Red Line MBTA station for easy access to Cambridge and Boston. There are also amenties in Davis Square itself including bars, restaurants and the Somerville Theater. The room was very clean and well maintained. The communal area is very quaint with a large dining table for enjoying breakfast with the other guests, and a selection of books, games and DVDs for borrowing during the stay. Breakfast includes bread with toaster, peanut butter, honey and coffee laid out as well as eggs, fruit, jams and yoghurts in the fridge, and homemade bakes on the table. A cat lives in the hotel but doesn't go into the rooms. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay. However, be advised that the building isn't manned by staff 24/7. Instead, entry is secured via a key code on the outside doors as well as your room itself. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with my booking outside of my control and I was unable to gain access to the property when I arrived. After contacting ******* to explain my situation they were able to inform one of the staff who rectified the issue and let me in. I was fortunate that this happened mid-afternoon and was easily resolved but had I arrived late at night this may have been a problem. For this reason, I would recommend contacting the hotel before arriving to make sure your booking and entry is confirmed, particularly if like me you are arriving from outside the US or Canada.
