Carambola Bungalow recensioner

The stay was good location was lovey and staff were very friendly. The room was rather unclean with ants all over the place but other then that not to bad for the price There is a church close to the property which played music extremely loud at 6am waking up everyone (Monday) I’m not sure of this is a normal day or week thing but be warned you will not sleep…….

Very nice cute place on the river. Good quality for the price. We arrived on the sleeper bus at 4 am and the staff picked us up. Very sweet of them.

Дружелюбное и симпатичное место на берегу реки. Персонал со всем помогал. В номерах относительно чисто - немного смутила пара паутин. В остальном - все было хорошо. Очень классные песики.

Домики новые и чистые. Хозяин очень заботливый. Природа обалденная. Стоит приехать на 2-3дня точно.

Отель находится в удивительно красивом месте Фонгня. Спокойствие и умиротворение окружают вас. Неспешная река и горы вокруг. Бунгало удобные и чистые. Завтраки сытные и вкусные. Хозяин отеля встретил меня рано утром и помог заселиться. Обслуживающий персонал очень дружелюбный и отзывчивый. Наличие велосипедов позволит совершить прогулки по окрестностям. В очередной раз спасибо команде Trip.com за прекрасное сопровождение моего путешествия по Вьетнаму!

Чудесное место, прямо на реке. Жаль, что попала прямо в ливни, весь причал затопило. Оставалось только представлять как здесь прекрасно, когда хорошая погода. К сожалению, пришлось уехать на день раньше, хозяин отеля помог с билетами на слип бас, и вообще он очень приветливый, старается во всем помочь. Он же организует любые трекинги и посещения пещер, правда у него чуть дороже, чем в городских агентствах. Завтрак по меню, притом вы можете выбрать только одно блюдо и один напиток, остальное за деньги.

To be clear, I did not stay at the bungalow, I am referring to the services provided by them. I contacted them as I searched for a tour (2 day Ruc Mon cave expedition). They confirmed with me and I was set to go. The morning of the tour at 7am they contacted me and said it was cancelled because there wasn't enough people. I did not know this was possible. I would caution any solo travellers in using them for booking tours. Go direct to the company as they are clueless. They blamed the tour company but surely if you confirm a tour, you should be aware about whether it is ACTUALLY confirmed, and communicate if there is a chance it could be cancelled. I had booked an overnight bus to get there on time, and then had to scramble to find a day tour (not the overnight experience I wanted) as well as change accommodations, buses, and flights because it shifted my itinerary and I did not want to waste a day of my trip. They just kept downplaying the error and saying I wouldn't have issues changing my bus or accommodations because it wasn't busy season - no concern for me losing money or not getting the experience I flew across the world for!!!

Forget about everything just go and *THE HOST* will make your trip as memorable as possible. I have been to many places but this place will always remain special to me. Beautiful views from the room. He arranges everything for you from bus/train,food private tours , you name it I had a wonderful experience and it was budget friendly. A must visit if you are planning a visit to Phong Nha

Ha runs a very tight ship ! He picked us up from the bus stop took care of everything. Nothing was too much trouble. The bungalows overlook the mountains very picturesque. He then sorted us bus tickets for our next destination and drove us back to the bus. Any questions about the area or onwards travel he knows. Thanks Ha for a lovely stay.

Rustic rooms, good location, pretty amazing view over river. Staying here was very convenient as we were able to book train transport, motorbike hire, cave tour and had morning coffee/ breakfast with them. The hospitality was 10/10 and made our stay here.

Mr Ha and his family did a fantastic job to make us comfortable. The hospitality is very warm and they did everything to make us feel at home. Phong nha and the trips to the caves are unforgettable.Thank you

I just visited Carambola Bungalows, we were 9 people and were served excellently. The hosts are so humble and at your beck and call. The rooms are great overlooking the beautiful lake and the food is great also. If you have visited Vietnam you will know that rice and noodles are most of what you will eat, BUT, carambola bungalows offer western dishes such also, as burgers and bbq pork. It is a great place for families and for groups of friends (we were 9 people between the ages of 26-31) The beer is also incredibly cheap :D (less than a euro!) The rooms were great, the AC worked well and the breakfast was top notch. They also offer laundry services (hand washed) for about 1euro per KG, the clothes were extrememly well washed! P.S. They also have the cutest and friendliest puppies you will ever meet!
