Relais Palazzo del Barone

I think we found our new "happy place" on earth! We completely enjoyed our stay at The Relais Palazzo Del Barone. We came with another couple and stayed for a few nights between our visit between Rome and Sorrento. We were so sad when we had to leave. While we were there, we took the cooking class and we were so happy we did. We left with aprons, recipe booklets, and the new knowledge of making delicious Italian dishes! I cannot wait to try the recipes here at home! If I could give 10 stars I would. Our hope is to return someday for a longer stay! Many thanks to Fabio, Barbara, and all the staff there. Every thing is nice the hotel provides a shuttle from hotel to sorrento and to train station and pick up from both. All the stuff are helpful and friendly i recommended the hotel. The view of balcony to the see. The hotel also provides cook class.

Palazzo del Barone might be one of the best places we have ever stayed. Beautiful, peaceful location offering a welcome respite from the busy, crowded city of Sorrento. The property is kept in pristine condition at all times. The food and wine (included breakfast and dinner 3 evenings) was the best we experienced in the Sorrento area. All ingredients fresh and perfectly prepared. Staff helpful and informative, especially Rosa, Chiara and Franco. We enjoyed the evening cooking class run by Anna. It was fun and we made some delicious dishes. The hotel is a distance from town, but the shuttle is available to you and there is a walking path (not for the faint-hearted though!) The distance allows for a tranquil and relaxing stay from which the incredible views of the Bay of Naples may be enjoyed.

With only 8 rooms the attentive staff can better focus on the customer experience, and boy do they ever. Rosa, Georgia, Franco, Vincenzo were all amazing as were the other staff not mentioned by name. Even the owner Fabio asked our opinion on the color for a planned chair fabric upgrade. We ate in the atrium all 3 nights we were there, very good. Loved the breakfast pre order so everything is freshly prepared and waste minimized. Situated on a 90 degree road bend you’ll hear some honking, and hear honking from the geese in the farm next door. Part of the charm. Shuttle was well used and very appreciated as we fell in love w 12 min away Sorrento.

Relais Palazzo Del Barone was amazing to all 5 senses!! The views of Mt. Vesuvius were stunning! The family that operates the hotel & their staff were so warm, friendly & helpful! The hotel grounds are beautiful with lush gardens & a vegetable garden where you'll see the chef picking fresh produce for that night's dinner. And, speaking of the chef, the meals were awesome, so fresh and flavorful! Our room was charming and inviting
