Amazing hotel staff absolutely fantastic rooms very clean Family run hotel who make it very comfortable and help in every way possible First time to Sorrento and will definitely be going back rooms everything u need and a little walk from town

Me and my Two friends stayed here last summer, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the staff to the facilities, everything was five stars. The room itself was clean and air conditioning worked amazingly, the only thing to add was that we had to look quite hard for where the plug sockets were situated within the room - but that was fault of our own! The pool was lovely and the view was amazing. The staff offered a brilliant service where someone could bring food up from the shop at the bottom of the hill, which helped us (especially with bottles of wine!). Me and my friends all had no problem getting up and down the hill, even after returning from late nights out. Although if you are someone who has mobility issues, you may struggle a little more. Overall, Villaggio Verde made my experience unforgettable. If I were to return to Sorrento i would book to stay here again in a heartbeat!!

AVOID! Awful place. Owners are false and since I speak Italian , I overheard the lady speaking to her husband and insulting and laughing at a lady solo guest. Very insulting and disrespectful . They should watch out for British tourists who understand them. So to your face , very nice but are laughing and insulting you in Italian behind your back. Nasty , horrible woman! I would never go there again. There are too many lovely hotels in Sorrento, where the staff are kind and treat guests with respect. Shocking . She called the lady guest “ Una stronza”. I believe this lady had complained because the pool was closed and so was the bar,for most of her stay . Rightly so. It ruined her holiday. Shame on the lady owner of this place! Choose somewhere else. If you’ve already booked, try and get a change. Why give them money when she clearly only has contempt for British tourists!

Just spent a week here, intend returning in the future. A very laid back, relaxing holiday. The staff were lovely, very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like family, something very lacking last year in Madeira. It's peaceful and relaxing, a short walk downhill into Sorrento where all the restaurants and shops are. There are takeaways along the route so you can grab a snack which we did a few times. Breakfast is continental, buffet style and the pool bar serves snacks which are really good. A lovely setting, 5 mins walk to a local market. We had a lovely time, thankyou!

A love hotel. Almost like staying in someone's grand house. I had a small room rather than a wooden cabin. Couldn't fault anything. Very helpful staff. Due to being a small hotel, you feel part of the family, if you know what I mean. Re other comments of the last few yards back to hotel. The final climb is a challenge, especially if you've been walking all day, and had a full bowl of pasta and a couple of glasses of vino. By the way. The last part of the road is narrow and is busy. Care is needed,especially after dark.

We booked here as it suited our budget and because of its proximity to the center of Sorrento. We were not disappointed, it's a little gem. But really it's the staff that make the place special. Antoinetta and Roberta were especially friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Their recommendations for tours and day trips was spot on, if you get the chance make sure to do the " Path to the Gods " walk, fabulous experience.
