Unfortunately, during your stay (October), weather was not so good and pool got shaded quite early during the afternoon! Normally, in summertime, guests can sunbathe till evening everywhere around the pool! We are so sorry and so surprised to read you found our menu to be repetitive, we have a daily different menu so every evening everything is different! Everyday we do our very best to suit our guests' needs and to make their stay memorable, we are so sorry and we do apologise for not meeting your expectations! We always provide the EXACT room type booked, the room you had it is exactly what you booked via your Tour Operator. It was a pretty nice and modern room with, unfortunately, views on the back of the hotel. As you mentioned, after few days we had the chance of moving you to a different room but the hotel was fully booked so there were no upgrade options available at all! It is quite surprising that you heard other guests were not satisified with their accomodations or with hotel facilities as we received no complaints at all!!! We firmly believe the quality of the food we serve at the restaurant is one of our greatest strenghts; as you could have read from many many many other guests' reviews, most of our costumers love the variety and the quality of our cusine. We are so sorry you could not experience the same! Please let us say that it is quite frustrating reading that your experience was spoilt because ofrear view (what you booked) and because of false or incorrect information received from other guests (??); there's plentyu of space around pool area so there's no need at all to queue from early morning!! Our goal is to keep improving everyday, we hope a such severe review can help us in futher steps. We are so sorry pool area management didn't meet your expectations at 100%, we do apologise for this. Unfortunately, in September, this part of Sorrento gets shaded from 3 pm but here at the hotel there are many other areas where you can enjoy the sun till late afternoon (sun-terrace at 5th floor, mediterranean garden)! Also, around pool area there are many many many sunbeds! It's not necessary at all to queue from early morning; our pool attendant Salvatore can always find a nice spot for all our guests!!! It's a shame you valued our restaurant and our cusine as "hotel food" without having even experienced our restaurant apart from 1 evening! We firmly consider our restaurant as one of our biggest strenghts, we are sure you would have loved our cusine based on local and homegrown ingredients. Buggy service is definitely available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week... can't actually understand why you thought 50% time this was not available. Once more we do apologise for not meeting your expectations at 100%, we are sure your comments and your feedback will help us in our improvements.
