The room was clean and had a very sweet little balcony. Also little touches like snacks available. Maria was very helpful- when there was no hot water she came straight away to fix it. The position is perfect for a short stroll into the main areas and although it was low season there were a few great choices to eat. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels- although this was our choice. I would definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in Sorrento at this lodging. It's not exactly a hotel and not exactly a B&B either (although breakfast was included), it's a group of rooms on a couple of floors in a building which also seems to have permanent residents. The room was very clean and secure and the king-sized bed was comfortable. Location is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of the main piazza, good restaurants, and the harbor, where you can catch a ferry to Capri or the Amalfi coast if you wish. As others have noted, the host, Maria Teresa, will do everything she can to ensure you have a pleasant stay. I especially liked the option to fill up a bag with clothes and have them washed for 20 Euro (saved me several days of washing my underwear and socks in the sink). Nice change from hotels which want to charge you 5 Euro per sock.

Bougainvillea Relais is a charming and beautifully presented B&B about a 10 minute walk to the main centre of Sorrento. Marie-Teresa the owner is delightful and couldn't do enough for us. She prepared a lovely breakfast that we had in our room every morning, complete with freshly made croissants (and a special breakfast on my husband's birthday). She also made a reservation for us at a lovely restaurant at the harbour and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay (including letting us back on when we accidently left the key card inside and didn't realise until after midnight!). Marie-Teresa is ably assisted by Saman, one of the nicest and politest people we have ever met. We would highly recommend Bougainvillea Relais and looking forward to our return trip.

This is a charming bed and breakfast in the heart of Sorrento. The room was small but adequate for our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was incredible (Although we paid extra to have it included... but well worth it!). We also had to pay extra to use the pool at a neighboring hotel. Maria Teresa was an amazing ownes/hostess and provided much help to us. She was always available when needed. We had a most enjoyable time and loved Sorrento.

Travelled with my wife to Sorrento for a 3 night stay and we stayed at the lovely Bougainvillea Relais apartments. We were greeted by Maria on arrival (who is such an amazing person) and she couldn't have made her stay any more special if she tried. The apartment is contemporary, spotless and in a great location within Sorrento. When we visit again in the future we will definitely stay here again. Thank you again Maria for everything. Mark

Outstanding in every way from the professional and warm greeting on arrival to our super clean and fresh room !! Location was perfect and a genuine walking distance to everywhere . Maria was available on every occasion we needed her care ❤️ We will return to the Amalfi coast again and will 100 percent make this hotel our base again . 🙏

An absolutely wonderful stay! Teresa made us feel immediately welcome and was on hand throughout our stay to help with anything and everything. Gorgeous modern room with balcony overlooking the lemon trees. Yes it’s also over a busy street but it’s nice to watch the world go by. You cannot hear a thing when you have the doors shut, so noise is not a problem. Very nice rooms and ultra comfy beds. Breakfast delivered daily to your room is a nice touch. Teresa booked us a boat trip to Capri which was just wonderful. We did use the pool for €20 per day, but there is no shade or umbrellas to use so we only stayed an hour as it was too hot for us. But a very nice pool. The sports bar below the apartment is great and a super friendly family run business. Teresa recommended a restaurant across the road which was incredible and worth the wait. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to town centre or pretty much everywhere, so very convenient. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here. You will not be disappointed. Cannot wait to go back again.

A great location to enjoy beautiful Sorrento. Maria was superb, had our backs the whole time. She organised trips and last minute panic airport tranfer for us due to someone else letting us down. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Breakfast service in the room was well presented and a nice start to the day. We would recommend Bougainvillea Relais to anyone interested in visiting the area.

Our stay at this B&B was an experience of a lifetime. We first were greeted by the owner who immediately made us feel like family. An Italian breakfast was served every morning that we enjoyed on our balcony. The bed was ultra comfortable like you rarely find in B&Bs and the ultra modern room provided all the comforts you need, especially an AC system that works perfectly. The owner Teresa also provided concierge services to help us enjoy the most of what Sorrento has to offer. The highlight of our trip was the pizza making class with Teresa at the Bougainvillea Restaurant. We can’t wait to come back!
