Poor customer service, rude evening reception staff with lack of English understanding and lack of any understanding of customer service. Complained about blocked sink and toilets flush problem but he didn’t resolve issues. Rooms had insects crawling and corridor was flooded. Avoid if you can

I mistakenly booked a single room in this hotel at a price of 27 USD.. Then I called the hotel to try to change the reservation to a matrimonial room because I am on vacation with my wife.. Their response was exploitative and told me to pay 66 USD to change the room type from single to double. Then I contacted the customer service to cancel the reservation and return my money, but without any benefit.. I contacted them for two whole days, but with no result.. The result was that I did not go to the hotel and lost my money.

This is by far the BEST hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff are amazing and 99% of them couldn't do enough to make our stay the happiest they could. We had a slight issue but ot was sorted as soon as they possibly could. I really can't praise the staff highly enough. Everyone from the cleaners to managment, if you're friendly and courteous then you're in good hands. We came as a family of 6, 4 children ages 6 to 12, one of which is very autistic for 14 nights. We found food to meet everyone's taste from plain pasta and chicken nuggets to traditional dishes. Waiting staff again were amazing and very attentive. The entertainment staff are incredible and are hard working and always have a smile, they are inclusive to each and every guest. The kid's disco starts every night at 8:30 for about an hour and all mine really enjoyed it (even the "too cool to dance" lad). After the disco they have entertainment for about 2 hours, some days it's comedy, some days music, dance, traditional, games with the tourists etc. The pool is always clean, the life guards are on the ball. The room is simple but very well presented, we had 2 rooms theat we had cleaned every other day through choice, can be done daily if wanted. After, the room was always spotless. The Beach bar was by far our favourite place to have our mid day meal. Thank you for a Brilliant time. I really can't thank everyone enough.

Marhaba Salem Beach resort was fantastic. My husband and I enjoyed it. You will be served at your beck and call. Nice room. Clean towels every day and everything tidy. Swimming pool was fine. Getting used to the salt water. But the temperature was good. Compliments to the waiters Osama and Amin. They turned the meals into a party. Animation was great fun. We enjoyed archery, darts, volleyball, foam parties and water polo. The evenings were great, with a different show every day. Nora, Zizou and Simo were by far the best animators. It's a shame that half of the animation team left after a week, but those three made up for a lot. The food was varied and very tasty. Bread in the morning is very hard. The alternative of omelettes and pancakes was welcome. Very friendly staff and highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy their holiday in Tunisia, Sousse.

We spent two weeks at this hotel and loved every minute of it, so much so that we have booked to go back again in April 2025. The staff are what made it so enjoyable, so friendly and helpful. There are four members of staff that are particularly amazing … Salah “Mo” , the waiter in the evening during the entertainment. He always made sure we had a place to sit to enjoy our evenings and entertainment, he knew what drinks we had and always had them ready for us . He is amazing at interacting with guests . Choco , who is part of the animation team. He is really funny and manages to get guests involved with dances, going to the club after the evening entertainment. He also interacts amazingly with guests and makes them feel really welcome. Rami - our waiter in the main restaurant (table 54) . He always knew what drinks we wanted , he is really funny and so welcoming . Definitely the best waiter in the restaurant. Biel - we spent most of our days at the pool where the evening entertainment is and Biel always found us a place to have sun beds no matter what time in the morning we got there. He’s so helpful and friendly. The drag show that’s on every Wednesday, we went to each week we were there . It’s absolutely hilarious and highly recommend watching it. It’s a different show each week. We really hope these members of staff are still there in April as our holiday definitely won’t be the same without them, as they are what made our time there so enjoyable.

I have just left the hotel today after a week with my husband and four year old boy. We have had the most amazing holiday from start to finish. Every staff member we have seen from the cleaners, to the waiters, bar staff, entertainment team and gardeners have all taken so much pride in their hotel and it really shows. A special mention to Rami, our main waiter who was so welcoming and always kept our drinks topped up. We found the hotel to be nice and clean, in the rooms and around the pool. Our room was a great size with a extra bed that my 4 year old felt right at home with. The storage and space in the room was fantastic. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that have not impressed me with the way the staff have done here. The food has been really great, with varying meats and show stoppers each night but also basics with pizza and pasta that kept my little boy happy. The salads and puddings have also been really impressive. I particularly enjoyed the freshly made omelette and pancakes each morning, with a coffee brought over by Rami. Bar staff have brought drinks to us by the pool and during the evening shows and have been so friendly. We have felt so relaxed and catered for all week and I am so grateful to the staff who made it so great. Another fantastic addition was a special Tunisian day they had where a marching band walked through the hotel and by the pool playing for the guests. The ability to access all the pools between the shared hotels was really great and we spent most of our time by the little pool. It was easy to get beds by the pool and the beach, with umbrellas available everywhere. There was also a fantastic show put on by traditional men and their horse by the pool side with drinks and food to celebrate with them. The hotel has certainly captured a piece of my heart and I'm sure we will come back.

The hotel is overall a very nice place. Quick summary: Positive 1) Wifi range is good throughout Inc beach 2) beach is close to resort everything walking distance 3) food not too bad 4) staff very polite and fo well to try and help 5) general feel and layout of the resort is very nice Negative 1) only 1 room key allowed even if there are lots of you in a room. This adds extra unnecessary complications in my opinion. May it be an issue for others 2) the water bottles provided (glass ones) often don't open. The caps ate faulty and just spin round forever. Don't leave the bar area (where you get your water bottles) without getting them to open it first. Often they need to get a knife to cut the cap loose. Apparently it's a known problem. 3) often a bad Drainage smell in the bathroom. 4)on site shops are expensive so just pop over to the mall (take all left as you come out onto the main road and it's about 3 mins walk) it has everything you will need .

Exceptional service and experience. We went to celebrate our 26 th wedding anniversary, staff so attentive and made our celebration extra special.. The photo shoot available created more amazing memories ❤️ Can't wait to book a return visit
