Where do I begin... So first off, we stayed at the resort one night in March. The premises are ok. I would give it a 7/10 at most. I just yesterday booked a room once again for two nights because I received an email for a BOGO night (email attached below that is very clear) for my anniversary. One night was $239, so I figured getting the other night free seemed reasonable. I booked with Elizabeth who was very friendly. She could not apply the BOGO since she had to get approval from the owner (Peter is his name I believe). She said the owner would get me a new invoice by the next day showing the BOGO. I did receive that email. However, it reflected only half off one of the nights only ($114.50). I called the next day and questioned why I only received 1/2 off one night and not a BOGO. I spoke to the owner this time. He said because we stayed one night already in March and are staying again so one of the new two nights will be discounted at 1/2 price. I told him that is not what the email said. He told me "He knows what the email said because he wrote it". I read him the email in case he was confused. His whole demeanor changed from relatively pleasant to condescending and downright rude! He started talking to me like a child. I told him to cancel the reservation and he hung up on me. I called him right back and questioned why he hung up on me. His response "you canceled your reservation...is there anything else you needed?" I told him that was very rude and he started yelling at me. I told him how unprofessional he was and ended the call this time. I was not going to argue with him anymore. My reservation was cancelled, but he charged me $5.40 credit card transaction fee. I will fight this fee with my credit card company as I am not going to give him a dime of my money. My family and I travel often and I don't think I have ever dealt with such a rude, arrogant individual! I will never come back to this establishment, nor do I recommend it to others. Look else ware if you want to be treated with respect.
