Fairfield Inn & Suites South Kingstown Newport Area

It was a nice and quiet stay. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the room was clean, cute and comfortable. The breakfast also tasted good. I would come here again for sure!

這個暑假三個月中我們在這個酒店住了兩次，前台很友善，當我第一次入住時忘記拿走自己帶的真絲枕套（留在了枕頭上），打電話給前台請工作人員幫忙保留，半個多月後我們再次入住時得到了很好的保存。酒店設施較新，有大停車場、健身房、洗衣房、游泳池、户外篝火，每天都有人聚在旁邊。我唯一覺得不夠喜歡的是窗户是密封的，不能打開，衹能依靠通風系統空調換氣。其他都不錯。

Super impressed with this property. Easy to find, with customer service-oriented staff. The room was nice and big and clean, with very comfortable beds (I slept like a rock). The bathroom was huge, also with a nice big countertop. One thing I don't like about this hotel room (and other Fairfield designs), is there is no 110V plug near the center shelf between the 2 beds. My wife uses a CPAP machine to sleep, and with no 110-plug available there - we have to rearrange the room to move a chair to hold the machine between the one available wall plug and the bed. Ugh. Also - read the hanging soap bottles in the shower with your glasses on BEFORE you shower, because the label letters are too small and hard to read once you're IN the shower without your glasses ;-) This hotel features are large gathering area near the entrance (as seen in their advertising pix), and nice warm clean indoor pool. Outside the hotel they offer an attractive gas fueled running fireplace to relax by, and a larger seating area with a few things for kids to enjoy. As far as their breakfast - this was one of the best offerings I've eaten at in a while. Real bacon & real cage-free scrambled eggs. The whole breakfast area was neat and tidy, with plenty of room to spread out & enjoy breakfast at. If we return to this area again in the future - this Fairfield will be THE place we will book again.

We were only here for one evening and I can't begin to tell you how impressed we were with this hotel. A very attractive exterior and a front desk that was manned with two lovely, friendly and professional employees. We didn't get to use the gym or the fire pit, but both looked very inviting. We have stayed at practically every one of the Marriott hotels and we thought this ranked right up with the best of them, maybe not a luxurious as some of the others but spotlessly clean and very a very friendly and helpful staff. We loved the Narragansett area, and this hotel is just a stone's throw away.

This hotel was designed so nicely. Very pretty from the outside, and it is in a nice area. When we arrived and went up to our room, we discovered that they had made a mistake a had given us a room with one king, rather than the double queen suite that we reserved. However, they did make it right and corrected the error. We've stayed in a lot of hotels, and the beds here were noticeably more comfortable than usual. Very nice sleep. Everything was clean and there was the expected warm breakfast.

Great location for visiting Newport, Narragansett,etc.. Here for a one night get away. Hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Complimentary breakfast offered a few better choices than other chain hotel breakfasts. No complaints here.

My wife and I are on a quest to visit all 50 states together. With this stay we completed number 50 -- Rhode Island! The hotel was very nice (as you can imagine, we've stayed at a lot of hotels) and the Narragansett area was a hidden gem. Make sure to visit the Narragansett shore and go down to Point Judith. There's a lighthouse and lovely scenery. I wanted to particularly thank the desk clerk, Makenzie. Not only was she highly competent at her job and engaging with her interactions with guests, she was enthusiastic about our quest to visit all 50 states. She was knowledgable about geography, something that we've found is rare in desk clerks these days. Especially since Covid, we've found that most desk clerks barely manage to get us checked in, let alone show some knowledge of the local area and points beyond. Makenzie hit a home run with her pleasant personality and her lively conversation. Thank you, Makenzie! You're one of the few who make the Fairfield brand look good. We see a bright future for you in the hospitality industry.

This is a very nice Fairfield Inn. The staff was very nice and the room was comfortable. Everything worked properly. I liked the colonial look of the building. Bathroom was very nice and the walk-in shower was great. My only complaint is that there is no hook or rod to hang a bath towel while using the shower. There are hooks behind the bathroom door, but with the shower door set up, you can’t reach them.

Room was clean and breakfast was OK, but the heavy smell of perfumed Febreze in our room was almost intolerable. We were told by the front desk that every room smelled like that and we were not offered any upgrades despite having Platinum status. We were also told we could not change rooms as they were at 94% capacity, yet the parking lot and breakfast buffet looked like a ghost town. There were literally 15 cars in the front parking lot at all times. Also, housekeeping only comes once every two days. We stayed 2 nights and never saw them. We were quite disappointed.
