Came hear for my friends birthday there was 11 of us. The food was fantastic. It was reef and beef night and most of the table got that and they all loved it. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection. My partner had the chicken parmigiana which tasted amazing. Staff were great. Drinks were cold, what more could you want. Great pub, highly recommend.

A couple of weekends ago there were 6 of us that went for a ride from Bundy to Wallaville Hotel (great service, cold beer), then onto Gin Gin, there was a black out of some type so no meals and 5 to 2 so we called the South Kolan Hotel, and although it was down to the wire, they took our meal orders and kept them nice and hot for us, great service always with smiles, thank you all.

The food here was very tasty, generous servings and nicely presented. We visited at lunchtime and had the Whiting with Salad and Chips and the Steak Sandwich and both meals were yummy. Staff are friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our meals

First they claim to be a family friendly venue yet there is no change table available, second what kind of place dosnt serve mash and veg at lunch, I don't know about everyone eles but when I order rissoles I expect it to come with mash and veg not chips and salad, nor is it on there menu stating this. third there menu states that 1 complimentary sauce second sauce $2 no where on the menu does dose it say that, that is for steaks only terribly service a smile dosnt hurt.

Went for a birthday lunch today and the food was exceptional!! Steaks were perfect, rissoles are massive, steak sandwiches are amazing!! Can’t fault the food!! Disappointed that they didn’t honor a free meal on your birthday when dining with others.. they checked my licence to confirm, but then charged for my meal. Didn’t want to ask why, would like to think it was an oversight, but abit disappointed.

First time for the Thursday evening reef and beef. A friend up from Newcastle, off we went five people. Could not fault the service, the food was excellent, beers and wine cold; everything was great, above expectations.

Decided to take a different route friend Childers to Miriam Vale and came across this hotel at lunch time. So glad we did. Premises clean and tidy staff friendly and inviting food fantastic. Will be making this out future stop for lunch on trips from now on
