Mercure Melbourne Southbank recensioner

As we arrived early, reception allow us for early check in due to room avaiblity,this is what i realy appreciated. Room is clean & comfort,quite. Recomended to stay in. Breakfast food ok.

Perfect location so close to the arts and entertainment district. We stayed during the Australian Open and travelling to and from the stadium was a breeze. The room was very clean and serviced beautifully. Would appreciate a comfy place to sit or additional cushions for the bed as that is the only option to relax on. Service from front desk staff was not the most friendly or helpful. It seems they’d rather you use self check in but to me that’s not hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as a good budget friendly alternative to the 5 star hotels in the area.

Very good location, just on the bund of Yara river. If you want to stay in center this is a great place. However level of service and kindness of the staff is lower than other hotels in Melbourne we tried. Breakfast was also very limited by the choose w/o opportunity to cook boiled eggs, by refusing of our request by restaurant staff.

Perfect location just off the main strip at Southbank. Rooms were quiet large. Only negative was the pressure in the shower cut as we only stayed one night, not a big deal for us

Excellent location, very close to Flinders Street Station, easy walking around. Breakfast has limited options, mostly bread.

The location and room overall was comfortable and good, (just overpriced for what you get due to F1 time inflation) . Checking in was bit tedious as you have to redo your booking details for their automated system.
