The Whispering Pine Lodge

I came here for an evening meal on the 2nd January with my partner and son. What a lovely meal was had and such a lovely setting with the Christmas lights outside. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the staff were excellent and we look forward to our next visit.

We took the self-contained cottage for two nights to tour around the lake. The cottage is way more equipped than we ever needed. The whole cottage albeit wooden, is adequately fitted with heating system, so it was warm and cosy even in the middle of the night during our winter visit. Staffs are warm and welcoming. My wife left behind a jacket when we checked out, and we got a call from their staff just shortly after we left.

This is a special place, spectacular views with super helpful & friendly staff. Great facilities, the food and bar selection was excellent. Breakfast in the morning looking across the loch sets you up nicely for the day. I would definitely return.

Took my wife here last week for a wee birthday treat . Wow absolutely stunning place and location . Situated right on the shores of the loch with amazing views . We were checked in both professionally and friendly by Lara . We had room 4 which had a balcony overlooking the loch and yes again wowww . The room was spotlessly clean with massive bed and top quality bedding . A nice little surprise was waiting for the wife , a delicious chocolate birthday cake complete with a card , very nice little touch .Lying on the bed looking over to the snow capped mountains was just mesmerising as was watching the sun go down over the loch . The shower room large with lots of toiletries and fluffy towels . The hotel bar is a lovely relaxing area complete with open fire which was on for us . It has a very good selection of drinks available and not that expensive for where you are . We dined in the restaurant that evening and that was an experience in itself . The food was delicious and the service first class . Again we didn’t think it was expensive for what we had , as you could tell it was all freshly made . After a fantastic night’s sleep and wakening up to the mountains again and a cup of coffee on the balcony we went for breakfast. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice hot , cold & savoury . The service we received was just perfect the guy was so helpful and friendly , nothing too much . All the staff we were met were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us . We would definitely return here without a doubt , and shall at some point in the not too distant future. Massive thanks to Sharon , Lara and all the staff for making so special . ❤️

Fabulous location with stunning views of the water and the mountains. The best and most varied menu selection we saw in our seven days in Scotland. The food was great and the staff warm and welcoming. The rooms were charming and cozy. We love the mix of Scottish and Indian culture, menu and design.

Beautiful location, right on the loch, but very uneven stay. Our room had a slightly strange decor, with outdoor chairs in front of the patio doors, and the bed was not very comfortable. There was lots of noise coming from the room next door, and unable to sleep, we eventually went to the front desk to ask them to request the people next door to turn down their television. At 11 pm, there was nobody there, which was disappointing. Dinner was nice, but breakfast very disappointing. The omelette was literally inedible--raw. No coffee refills were offered, no milk jug for coffee on the table, very slow service. Probably would not go back.
