Palazzo Leti Residenza d'Epoca

This is a beautiful and beautifully maintained inn with a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast room, lobby (more like a living room really) and patio/garden look out on Monteluco, where the Sacred Wood of St Francis and an ancient but still operating monetary are located. Worth the hike! The palazzo is in easy walking distance of shopping and dining in Spoleto. Spoleto itself is charming and well situated for day trips and excursions. Note that you may have to wheel your luggage up and back because most cars are not allowed in this upper part of town. The bed in my room was super comfortable and the bathroom adequate. Not a modern super bath but it had all the essentials. I would return in a heartbeat.

Palazzo Leti is the epitome of good service, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, peaceful surroundings and easy access to the old town. What more could we ask for. Honestly, it was divine. We would return there in a heartbeat.

What an enchanting and romantic place to stay in Spoleto! Compliments to Anna for making our anniversary stay extra special. The breakfast is excellent…the location can’t be beat…and the property is lovingly cared for. We have stayed here several times…and can’t wait to return!

Had the pleasure to stay in the north wing of this beautiful Plazzo for 4 nights. Great central location within easy walking distance of major sites and restaurants in Spoleto. Wonderful and helpful staff. Beautiful garden to sit and watch the sun set in the evening

Der Park, traumhaft. Der Blick ins Tal umwerfend. Die Terrasse zum verweilen und frühstücken, ebenfalls. Da hört es aber leider fast schon auf. Der Rezeptionist war freundlich und höflich und wir konnten schon gegen 11.00 unser Zimmer betreten. Auf meine Frage, ob es am Folgetag etwas veganes zu Frühstück gibt, wurde mit - leider nichts spezielles - verneint. Nun denn...Da ich sehr genügsam was vegane Ernährung angeht, bin, reicht mir auch etwas Rohkost, Marmelade und Brot oder Brötchen. Das Zimmer war nett und sauber, allerdings recht klein. Ebenso das Badezimmer. Der Blick aus dem Fenster leider traurig. Wir schauten auf das Dach eines anderen Gebäude. Hier empfanden wir dann den Preis für das Zimmer ( 150€) dann doch nicht ganz angemessenen....Naja... Die Enttäuschung war dann aber am nächsten Morgen am " Buffet" Ein so lieblos angerichtetes Buffet hab ich selten gesehen. Es lagen ( um 9.30 Uhr) noch ein paar Croissants und drei kleinen, unappetittlichen Tiefkühl- Weizenbrötchen auf dem Tisch. Meine Hoffnung auf etwas Rohkost, wurde mit einzig zwei großen, im ganzen gelassenen Tomaten, die einfach auf einem Teller lagen, zunichte gemacht. Für ein Hotel in der Preisklasse, ein Armutszeugnis. Statt dessen wäre es ein super Service gewesen, wenn man am Anreisetag ein / zwei vegane Croissants ( die es eigentlich in Italien an jeder Bar gibt) besorgt hätte oder zumindest ( auch für andere Gäste) eine schön angerichtete Rohkostplatte angeboten hätte. Aber außer einer Entschuldigung gab es nichts. Traurig und leider war das Hotel nicht seinen Preis wert.
