Hotel Taj Residency Srinagar

I choose this hotel from reviews None of them is correct. Vert Poor location Very Poor hospitality, Very Poor cleanliness. Stinky rooms I guess not clean for days... If ask for that then they argue and teach us that it is how it should be. All photos online it doesn't match reality

The restaurant team in Taj Srinagar was awesome. They never said "NO" to anything that we requested. My friends wife demanded Trout and other delicacy and not only did they not serve it quickly but refused to charge us for the same, as we were on all meal package, They were always smiling and offering add-ons that we did not even know about. They really made our 3-night stay there very encouraging and endearing. Almost every member of the restaurant team was super great - a real WOW team Great training and we recommend the hotel just for these people.

Service is very nice... I really recommend this hotel for best experience in Kashmir tour... People n staff r very kind n helpful... Room r cozy n suitable as per the weather... Food is the best part they make..👌👌👌

Had stay in this property, wonderfully greeting and service provided by reception staff. Good room and big in size. Not exactly remember staff name. Had lunch in best amazing restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast buffet was elaborate and lots of choices.

Good staff, rooms, food, services, only issue is location, if you have gps then no issue, once you reach everything is fine

A lovely location and great views. However, this hotel needs some renovation and TLC. We stated there for 2 separate nights and I was a bit disappointed with the condition of the hotel and specifically the rooms. Bathrooms are quite jaded and need some renovation. The food is average and just one F&B outlet operational - perhaps due to Covid. But with the hotel seemingly quite full perhaps it would've make more sense to open more outlets for social distancing. Staff were very helpful and friendly - though they seemed to be short staffed. Room service food was lying outside our room from before we checked in till about 8 hours later!!! However, the location and views of the lake, etc. are spectacular.
