Premier Inn Bury St Edmunds Town Centre

We had one of the superior rooms, it was excellent. It was roomy, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The location is brilliant, just a few minutes walk from the cathedral and on into town. On the recommendation of the receptionist we ate both nights in The Masons Arms, a pub about 10 minutes walk away. Found the breakfast very slightly disappointing, nothing wrong with the cooked options but only a small choice of pastries. The wifi was also not up to allowing me to watch the football on my iPad! However, it remains a very good option.

Nice hotel in a great location! Comfortable bed with plenty of extra pillows, good water pressure and temperature! Wonderful employees as well! Scarlet at reception was most helpful with one small issue, and with general advice about the area!

We have lost count of how many times we have stayed at this Premier Inn, it is so well situated for exploring Bury St Edmunds town centre, the Abbey gardens, cathedral and beyond But the best thing is the staff ! A big shout out to friendly, helpful Julie and Glen for our best yet Premier breakfast ! Thank you.

Lovely family rooms, comfortable beds and the best pillows. Breakfast is great value for money and kids eat free. Great selection and freshly cooked. Julie and Glen couldn't do enough for the children! Very friendly and excellent customer service! Highly recommended!

Not a guest went in for a breakfast today was fantastic really enjoyed it ever was scrumptious and delicious thank you Glenn and Julie for the wonderful service! What a friendly site, would definitely come again great start to the day and weekend.

Great location , very peaceful and close to Cathedral and Town Centre Room a bit tired but spotlessly clean, as usual bed was so comfortable We would like to give a mention to Noel and Nicky who ran the reception and restaurant/bar late afternoon through to evening, I was disappointed as it was only a small bar that didn’t do the usual cocktails but Nicky and Noel were great and Nicky suggested a white wine , we bought a bottle and sat in the quiet area enjoying the evening with them both checking up with us now and again Only one downside was the grumpy greeting we got at breakfast from a member of staff and her and the Manager were far too keen taking plates away while some people were still eating, i appreciate they have a quick turnaround but asking a man if he was ready to pay for his breakfast while he was still eating his toast seemed a bit too eager!
