So City Hotel recensioner

Well equipped hip hotel conveniently located at St Julians but an absolute NO for light sleepers. Loud music every single night from 10pm till 3am. One could literally feel the beat while placing you hand on the desk/ wall. Got a room on a higher floor, can’t imagine what it s like on the lower floors. p.s. check out time is 11:00, not 12:00 as mentioned on the info page

We stayed at the hotel with friends from March 7 to March 10, and we absolutely loved it! The service was excellent, the staff was polite, and they even gave us our room earlier than expected. The hotel is located right in the center of the nightlife scene—such a great location! The design of the hotel is very unique and artistic. I definitely recommend it! Everything was amazing! Thank you so much!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming that I could truly feel their hospitality. The room was kept neat and clean, even though I wasn’t really a fan of the hotel's theme. Since I’m not sensitive to noise, I can’t say much about it. But in my case, the window worked well to block out the noise from the crowded street. I also loved the breakfast too.

So City hotel is in the centre of St Julian’s party hub. It’s surrounded by clubs and restaurants and cafes. My room was on the ninth floor watching on the other side of the noisy neighbourhood so it was calm with windows closed. When I opened windows I could hear everything like I am in the club. Room was nicely decorated and quite spacious. It could be more clean - I found some blemishes on duvet cover, looked like stains from makeup that couldn’t wash out. Also found some hair in the bathroom. Considering that water is not drinkable in Malta, they should offer complimentary water bottles for each day of staying- instead they give you just 2 half litre bottles for the whole staying. More than that you must buy. Also they offer just 2 coffee capsules for the whole staying- more than that you must buy. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices for eggs and omelettes, with additional continental breakfast items like toasts, butter, spreads, cheese and ham, some fresh fruit, and different kinds of pastries. Also they offered numerous juices and types of “milk”. It was fulfilling and cheap. Dining area is really nicely decorated with high ceilings and nice wall decors. Staff at the reception was great and helpful. Overall for that price it was 4/5.

Amazing and style

Really decent hotel very nice rooftop pool very friendly stuff. I’ll definitely recommend it. 

Our room was upgraded to the room with Jacuzzi. We really enjoyed it. And the roof top pool was also amazing. It was a great view and we enjoyed with alcohol.

Booking to be there, I called to cancel and they ensured me that they will cancel after a couple of days reject it when I manually tried. Scammers and unprofessional. Enjoy those £99, probably your hotel is so bad that without that money you will lose money. No wonder why you have bad reviews.

No complaints at all. New and clean hotel with great service. Rooms are designed very well and the windows do provide great sound proofing. This hotel is definitely aimed at a specific audience so if you want to get an early night's sleep it might not be for you. Rooftop pool was incredible. All in all perfect hotel for a trip to malta.

It's a really nice hotel and great staff and a very good location but not in the summer because it's a night live area

Not happy about the 50€ deposit needed, still not returned 4 days later.

Great location near all bars and a short walk to the bays etc Bus stops nearby. Lift to all levels and the rooms were good size and clean with kettle, coffee-making facilities. Ideal.for a solo traveller
