Ndiza Lodge and Cabanas

This was our first trip to St. Lucia, and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, Gawie made us feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to help. He even assisted us with booking our safari, which took all the guesswork and stress out of planning. We stayed in Cabana 5 and couldn’t have been happier—it was completely private, and we especially enjoyed the private braai area. Breakfast on the terrace, accompanied by a live musician, was a highlight, and the stunning views made it even more memorable. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful stay in a beautiful place: everything was just perfect- the kindness of our helpful host, the set-up of the lodge nested in the rainforest, the stunning view of the deck towards the ocean, our spacious two-bedroom cabana with fully equipped self-catering kitchen, and mosquito blinds on the windows- the lovely breakfast that you can enjoy on the deck , free coffee all day through. Thank you so much !

Enjoyed both times I stayed at Ndiza in April and May 2024. I stayed in the 2-bedroom cottages which I found to be comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped with necessities including a fridge, microwave oven and fully-kitted kitchen. There is clever use of space through an open plan arrangement between the kitchen and lounge/dining area, which makes the unit more spacious. The main bedroom is also beautifully decorated and has a comfortable double bed. The second bedroom is fitted with two single beds, which means a couple and two children can share the unit without feeling crowded. Breakfast was good, with a breathtaking view of the estuary from the dining area. You can also walk into the wetlands directly from Ndiza and enjoy the amazing natural flora. This has become my go-to place whenever I am in St. Lucia and I highly recommend it. Oh, and the service from proprietor Amanda and her friendly staff adds the cherry on top. Can’t recommend it enough.

Friendly and efficient - the bar and breakfast room were great. Accommodation was a bit basic, but exactly what we expected and good value for money. Security is good, with electric gates and a guard on duty. The honesty bar is a novel idea, but leant that there were always cold beers available!
