Not a great hotel, you couldn’t help but feeling that it was out to make money with minimal effort in return. Be careful when you book as they have Seaview from your balcony with wall view from your bed or a complete sea view, this isn’t made every clear when you book. The hotel itself was lovely and the beach was tranquil and beautiful , unfortunately everything else was disappointing . The food in all restaurants was boring, very expensive and not very good. Considering you were at the mercy of the Hotel , they could have done much better, it was pretty tasteless and what claimed to be Greek was not very Greek at all. Very little on the menu across the board in all of the on site restaurants. The breakfast was also pretty poor in quality and not much variety. They had one domestic toaster designed for four slices of bread to toast your bread amongst all the hotel guests which would often result in you having to wait ages to make toast. The service was probably more like 3 star rather than five, you would often be kept waiting before you were attended to and the whole customer service experience was pretty unprofessional. The mens toilets nearest to the foyer had overflowing bins of used hand towels every night, overflowing to the floor. I did report it one night but nothing was done and was a recurring issue every night. The attention to detail was very poor and things like that were completely overlooked. That just would never happen in a Hilton hotel. The nearest village was a 15 euro cab ride there and a 15 euro back, ten nights cost us three hundred euros which was ridiculous on top of the transfer fee to and back from the hotel from the airport, we ended up spending five hundred euros in cab fares for the entire trip which was ridiculous. We felt that that the Hotel could have laid on a free shuttle service to and from the hotel to the village as it was the only place you could go to outside of the hotel and was not accessible by foot regardless of its distance. It could also provide a free transfer service, other hotels that are cheaper do. One night when we booked a cab to go to the village to eat, we were asked by the hotel receptionist if we minded sharing with others, we said that was ok, what we didn’t realise is we shared it with two other groups, one of two and the other of three. It was in the hotels own mini bus and despite sharing we still all got charged 15 euros. This underlined the hotels greed as they made 45 euros out of three sets of people. You would have thought they would have done it for free or discounted, instead they made more money out of us. We were aware that the hotel wasn’t adult only but what we didn’t realise was that it was completely geared toward families with young children, by day two I got fed up of the sound of crying babies and children running around us whilst we were trying to have a relaxing drink. There was no control from the parents or the hotel staff. One night they had a weddin
