Stanley High Country Inn

The room and facilities were spotless, with fresh carpet and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The community kitchen and dining area were well-equipped, and the shared living space was perfect for relaxing, reading a book from their little library or choosing a game from the shelf. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the large window offered breathtaking views of the mountains and night sky. The entrance was beautifully adorned with vibrant flowers, adding a charming touch. The second floor can get a bit warm in a heatwave, but two fans and a window that lets in the cool mountain air in after the sun sets. We loved the private hot tub reservations, and the self-serve soda, hot chocolate, and tea were a lovely bonus. Coffee lovers will appreciate the ground coffee and full set of serve ware, including utensils, glasses, and cups, plates, etc. The friendly hospitality made us feel right at home. A truly wonderful place—we can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely stay here before heading to Redfish Lake Lodge for a conference. The hardest part about making the reservation was choosing which room we wanted! We ended up in the Bears Room upstairs, which had the best pillows and mattress I've ever found in a hotel or lodge. In fact, I took photos of the tags so I could try to buy some. Many of the other rooms were occupied during our stay but we never heard another soul. We enjoyed a nice long soak in the hot tub after walking to dinner at Mountain Village Restaurant (which never disappoints). Easy check-in and check-out. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I needed for a quick get away to enjoy the sights and do a little fishing. Room was cozy with everything that I needed. Also easy process for check in and check out due to great communication from the host. Looking forward to doing it again.

We love visiting, and have been several times! It’s charming and very clean. The thoughtful details are quaint, and it retains a peaceful atmosphere. The hot tub is a great perk, and the kitchen is stocked with microwave and dishes necessities to make everything comfortable. A favorite spot!

The Inn is very peaceful and very quiet. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were awesome!! The inn is very close to everything in town. We reserved three rooms in a row for our family and they were all joined with the pass through doors. Very accommodating.

Good location within many places to visit. Staff was very helpful. Very comfy room. Nice common area with view to the mountains. Nice Hot tub. Specialty coffee and teas. Stayed in balcony room with comfy chairs with view of the mountains. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
