We stayed in a room overlooking the roadway and (I think) our room's double glazing was compromised as we could clearly hear the noise of every passing car - some which were boy racers with high revs. We complained to reception (as they asked how our night had been) and they apologised. Wether they reported it I don't know.

Even though my room overlooked the main road, there was no discernible traffic noise. The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately this hotel hasn’t been updated, but the only thing I missed was an electric plug point next to the bed head. This was not enough of a problem to give a lower score.

Checked in to this Travelodge last minute as I was working away. Karen at reception greeted me with a lovely smile and immediately made me feel welcome. Great facilities with food outlets right next door! Had a warm bath, and a greats night sleep, would definitely recommend if you need somewhere to stay :)

This is about the worst hotel car park in Britain. The potholes outside of and leading into the hotel parking area, have to be seen to be believed. I'm surprised they don't declare them as sinkholes. The access in and out of the little 'complex' is also littered with enormous, deep potholes. So much so that you can't really avoid them by driving around them.

I stay with Travelodge often however this particular hotel is possibly the worst I have ever stayed in. It's a run down dirty hotel with threadbare carpets, mould everywhere in the room and just a generally musty, dirty smell permeating from the upholstery. The receptionist wasn't the most welcoming and her 'uniform' hadn't seen an iron in possibly forever and it looked like she'd brushed her hair with a toffee apple. Not one of Travelodges best hotels at all.

Stayed in this hotel on numerous occasions always greeted with smiles The reception lady who goes by the name Karen is super helpful so friendly & if anything needs amended with the booking she goes above and beyond every hotel reception needs a Karen behind it.. Housekeeping team are also super friendly & go out there way To make sure everything is perfect.. Courtney kassey & sarah all need some sort of recognition In there great hospitality They make the stay so kuch comfier & can settle better knowing they are apart of this hotel .. Hotel is super clean everything u need & that little bit more is always on hand amazing team should be proud

Amazing all round couldn't ask for anything better good parking facilities Greggs burger king esso station and room was lovely and clean and a very very warm welcome by the two ladies at the reception area Karen and Courtney if only all the other hotels had Karen and Courtney at the checking in desk very happy thank you
