Atricom Damon #5 Ok grab a cuppa and keep reading and remember this place was in *********** and classed as luxury apartment ,yes it's like that! I did bring a few of the major things to their attention Positives Yes I did check reviews before booking ,always do 1.First glance outside and inside very nice and big 2. Very quiet ,situated just outside town 3 .views of mountains 4. Beds were comfy 5. Rooms clean and nicely made up 6. Bathroom in back was clean 7. Good initial communication to me about key under mat and about security code not working That's it folks now comes the Nitty gritty and no I'm not being picky,advertised as luxury I don t expect the following 1. Informed wifi wasn't working,ok we can deal with that 2. Front door security entry code lock wasn't working. Informed key was under mat.can also deal with that 3. Oven wasn't working,grill works tho but no heat when oven is on,yes we had all the dials on correctly 4 Broken lock on one window In bedroom 5. When we arrived All windows were unlocked or open behind curtains. back door unlocked Side passage door open and unlocked 6. Asked in txt and thru *********** about aircon not working.no answer until I txt 3rd time next afternoon 7. Stove top has missing light for on/ off. 8. Cracked tiles on kitchen floor and laundry. 9. window sills and screen doors have never been dusted for ages,we noticed build up when we had to open windows because of no air con and fight our way thru cobwebs inside and out 10. Tiled floors have some kind of cleaning or dust film over them,cleaned with a dirty mop,can see swipes on floor, our foot prints and other ppls shoe prints we could see in dust film on tiles. 11. Cupboards over oven need cleaning there is oil based build up when you open the doors 12. Couldn't get oven to work. Had it on 175 with fan forced, after half hr it was still cold so we used the griller in the oven to cook dinner. 13. Wanted to use spa bath but dirt rings still on tub which I cleaned and when jets were put on ,hairs came flowing out so we decided against that one. 14.we had to empty the wet washed towels left in machine and we put them in dryer 15 someone put washing powder in the agitator top compartment, that didn't work! That part was only for fabric softener not washing powder! 16.candle wax has been spilt on top of tub near tap and never removed 17. mat under dining table has curled making it a tripping hazard. 18. All smoke alarms had a green display light except one in very front bedroom 19. Aircon filter was filthy with dust.havnt been cleaned for ages. 20. Cobwebs galore over back screens and and windows in bathrooms etc 21. Dirty dishes in pantry we rewashed 22. No hair dryer as in a motel. 23. no bin in bathroom 24. No evacuation emergency procedures on doors 25. no fire blanket in kitchen or anything for emergency. 26. Kitchen benches weren't clean still had dried food residue on them 27.
