Enjoy the unique bush and landscaped surrounds of this 14 ac. property set on the Ovens river and bordered by the Alpine National Park and State forest. They are situated on 14 acres, of which 8 acres is landscape garden in a very unique picturesque setting, River on one side and state forest on the other three, only 750metres from the mountain village of Harrietville but your own secluded retreat.Shady Brook is unique, unlike many holiday venues you have space, seclusion and in a magnificent setting. In each season the landscaped garden offers you special delights, planted down in a primary exotic theme you can enjoy the magnificent Autumn colours that the north east of Victoria is famous for. In spring the colour of 1000's of bulbs bursting forth around Rhododenrons and Azaleas to name a few, flowering trees and native shrubs. Summer is also filled with colour, what better time to enjoy a glass from your deck of your cottage in the cool afternoon. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed in a separate room with a ceiling fan, electric heating/cooling, separate bathroom and a spacious lounge (each cottage has a fold out double sofa bed in the lounge) and kitchenette. Set in a private garden with a deck and barbeque with your own outdoor setting. Both cottages are only 30 metres from the river and are very secluded, with private bush tracks immediately at rear of the cottages.
