"This was my second time checking in for this new homestay. The boss is very kind to pick me up from the Beihai jetty after I returned from my trip to Weizhou island. The room is very clean and beautifully decorated. He was also very responsive when I requested slippers and clothes hangers. This Homestay hotel is strategically located near the silver beach. I strongly recommend travellers or tourists stay here to see the beautiful homestay place and the boss is also kind enough to allow cooking in the kitchen. I also did my sweet and sour pork and chicken meats in my first 2 days stay here. I gave the boss and this homestay place considered 5 stars for the best value for money."

"We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family."

GGästanvändareThis is simply the best room I've booked on Trip.com for a few reasons: location, service, cleanliness. The location is absolutely perfect. Located almost directly across the street from Beihai Railroad Station, there are a myriad of eating places, convenience stores, a pharmacy, and a popular drink and ice cream shop nearby. 宁春城 shopping mall is very close and offers nine stories of entertainment and more food choices. There are two bus routes nearby that zip along the city for only two-three RMB.
The service can't be beat. The boss lady is extremely kind and accommodating. She has always replied rapidly to any questions, and she helped me when I needed cooking utensils. The 保安们 are always so kind, and they really make coming and going a friendly adventure. Also, a washing machine and refrigerator really up the service of the room. Not many places seem to have both items, but for any longer stays, those appliances feel like a must. This is the place for you if you're looking for both.
Lastly, the cleanliness is top notch. This is the southern part of China, which sometimes gets damp in the spring and has insects in the summer, yet very little mold and insects plague this room, which is amazing.
For me, this place is a perfect fit, and I'm glad I found it.

GGästanvändareI was very curious how a property with such an affordable price has a such a high rating. I was immediately convinced by myself.
The property is perfectly located in the Southern part of the Island near Crocodile Mountain and its beautiful beach as well as South Bay with countless options of tasty seafood. The room is big, bright, clean and smells great. There is everything a traveller needs. The highlight is clearly the boss, she is very warm, welcoming and very kind. There was a book in my room which I took out of curiosity to read on the beach, and I realized it contained great messages. I asked the boss if she is willing to sell it to me but she gave it for free. She told me that she deliberately puts books with great messages for young people in the room since many students stay in her property. Wow...I wish more people in this world would be like the boss. Don't hesitate and book a room here. If I ever happen to be again on this island, I know where to stay!!

GGästanvändareThis was an excellent place to stay. It's a bit far from the city center, but with access to DiDi, that was quite alright. It's very close to the beach so it's perfect for travelers to Beihai who want to enjoy Silver Beach. I invited a friend to come check out the city and travel a bit, and the two bedroom space was perfect for us. Honestly, it's a travelers paradise. We had a few days by the pool to relax, and it was wonderful.
The boss was fantastic. Any questions I had, he always answered quickly and thoroughly. The place was very clean and very comfortable. The appliances were brand new and the house had cooking utensils, pots, and a few plates to use. Although, it's worth either going into town or ordering food, there is a convenience store and a couple of restaurants literally outside the complex. A handful of other people who sell tasty treats and fruit were also often outside, which made grabbing some treats fast and easy.
I recommend this place. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip in Beihai.

LLawcchThis homestay hotel is an excellent choice for me and other travellers who like to explore Weizhou island. Mr Lin is the owner who ensures the guests feel welcomed and comfortable staying. He is a kind and generous guy who takes effort and time to send me to the scenic areas because he cares for his guest's safety as I don't really know the places and traffic conditions in the island. The location of this homestay is about 1.5 km away from the island passenger jetty and hawker stalls. He also provides scenic areas of island exploration tips. He even waited for me to pick up from and drop off at the passenger jetty when I arrived and departed the island. The hygiene or cleanliness of the room and toilet is top level. I highly recommend to all travellers to stay at this homestay which offers the best value for money.

EEGHIt’s a perfect spot for visiting Beihai. You get amazing value for money. Quality room and a lot of space too , as well as a great location close to shops and railway station. Beach isn’t close but it’s easy to reach with DiDi. No issues with getting around town either. Great power shower, good a/c , bed is comfy, and the soundproofing works!
A negative is SMOKING! Even though it’s covered in no smoking signs it still happens. Rooms can fill with smell of next door smoking or some ignoramus walking along the corridor puffing away. It’s an issue for most hotels due to the high number of smokers in China, but if they enforced fines consistently then maybe it would stop more doing it. Having said that , I still use City Comfort because the POSITIVES massively outweigh that single negative.
No frills. Just delivers on quality at a value price with good staff.

ZzhaofannusHotel is operated by professional hotelier who owns chains hotel outlets in different places. The hotel service is far more beyond my expectations. We booked a double studio/ family room with big balcony on the roof level. Space is really big enough for 4-5 guests. The cleanness is A+, no blind spot dirty corner. Shower system, lighting, and TV / projector are installed with high technology. Due to political restrictions unfortunately it has no lift. But the counter service is very helpful. They provide you simple guide to different scenery spots, they help you to book local taxi tram/tricycles, they advice you the local shops, they even provide you professional fishing tips... In the hotel they have a Szechuan cuisine specialist chef to cook either simple dish or luxury banquets for you. Overall it’s a high quality stay in the island.

No daily room service , the hotel is clean but don't expect any will come to clean the room , you need to do it by yourself
Towels are not available, they provide 2 small towels , no one came to provide new one next day.. come ready
We find around there is other hotels , more nearer to the beach and with swimming pool.. next time will not come to this one , will book another
Family who run the business are nice , they tired to help , I think they can do much better if they have more regular cleaning service and add simple breakfast

In total , wasn't bad experience, as if you come , you will only sty at the hotel to sleep and the rest of the day at the water

GGästanvändare位置挺好，周邊吃飯的地方不少！也不貴。離老街不遠！老闆很隨和，房屋不可以，畢競價位不高，可以接受，太挑剃的就不要來了！畢竟沒有十全十美又很便宜的地方！！！再去北海有機會還會住那裡！
