Ein einzigartiger Aufenthalt am Fuße der Mauer! Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten unglaublich gemütlich. Der beste Schlaf auf der ganzen Reise. Es waren draußen fast -20 Grad, aber innen war es wohlig warm. Der Besitzer hat uns gute Tipps für die Wanderung auf der Mauer gegeben. Das hausgemachte Essen war überaus köstlich. In den Zimmern hängen wunderschöne Fotografien der Mauer, die der Besitzer selbst angefertigt hat. Egal was wir benötigt haben, sie haben sich bestens und rührend um uns gekümmert. Vielen lieben Dank für die wunderbare Zeit! Wir werden wiederkommen 😊

Vi stannade 2 nätter med Cho och hans familj. Allt var perfekt, vi kände oss som hemma. Cho och hans familj är välkomnande och omtänksamma. Rummet var mycket rent och rymligt. Platsen är tyst och några steg från Kinesiska muren. Vi åt alla våra måltider på familjens restaurang och det var utsökt och rikligt varje gång. Ett oslagbart värde för pengarna. Cho tar mycket hand om dig och kommer att kunna guida dig under ditt besök på muren samt organisera din återkomst till Peking. En otrolig adress där du kan stanna med slutna ögon under din vistelse i Jinshanling.

從北京去朝陽，搜尋沿路的景點，看到了金山嶺長城，評價非常好，就決定來這裏。訂酒店的時候翻了好久，最後選定了這家農家院，老闆一家非常熱情，有停車位。酒店就在景區大門口，注意，不是景區大門外，是景區中門的門口，直接省了電瓶車的費用，遊覽完長城從東門下山老闆娘還親自來接。酒店位置也非常好，看完景區夜景出來之後發現酒店的位置看夜景就很棒。位置有限，酒店條件一般，但收拾的很乾凈，也很安靜，休息的不錯。

Our stay at Shanhai Premium Guesthouse was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience! The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. 這家民宿真的超出預期！位置特別方便，周邊環境安靜，出行和吃飯都很省心。房間乾淨整潔，佈置温馨有格調，床品舒適，洗漱用品齊全，細節很用心。房東熱情周到，回覆及時，還貼心推薦了遊玩攻略和本地美食，讓人感覺像回家一樣。公共區域整潔舒適，拍照也很出片。整體體驗感超棒，性價比很高，下次來還會選擇這裏，強烈推薦給大家！

At the beginning it is hard for me to choose even the review is positive, but when I arrive and check in, I totally change my view. The surrounding is cozy, the room are clean with no cigarette odour even they provide ash tray in the room (suggest owner take away the ash tray and put a notice smoke at provider smoking area out side the premises), toilet are bright and water pressure is good (but hope the owner can make a little bit changes for the wiring system of the water heater), the food is tasty and size are too big for solo traveller (suggest to owner set a price for small size for not wasting food), the owner parents are friendly and always give the good service. At night, surrounding is quite and good to rest. it is a walking distance to Jing shang ling tourist center but if planning to do the sunrise walk the owner will provide a transfer service to the entrance at 330am. Overall it is a good choice to stay here.

The Hotel is located at a busy central road. Lots of shops around and a good popular grocery store. The staff is welcoming and helpful as it can be. 5 stars. The room is small but okay. The bed is comfortable like most chinese beds. The bathroom is super tiny and had some plumbing problems also the grey water from the shower runs across the floor to the sink, bear in bind when you put dowm a towel for your feet. The light in all rooms is very dark and everything in the room was laying under a urine smell caused by the aircon. That's the reason we would not stay here again. The breakfast is great but the room is too small to fit all guests, so it gets super busy. Plus point: you can tale your bicycle to the rooms.

It was a bit hard to find as an international traveller, you have to go all the way to the entrance of the park (past the jianshanling hotel) and the very last right a few hundred feet before the ticket booth and checkpoint, you go right, and it is a few houses down. The hosts, room, and food were all wonderful and accommodating, the most delicious we have had in china so far!

Jag hade varit i Badaling- och Mutianyu-delarna av Kinesiska muren tidigare, men den här gången när jag åkte till Jinshanling var det redan sent, så jag hittade en närliggande bondgård att övernatta på. Parkeringen var bekväm, och bondgårdens ägare var mycket hjälpsam; hon uppgraderade till och med mitt rum. Frukosten såg tilltalande ut. Problemet med en märkbar lukt av återflöde från badrums- och toalettavloppen var ganska uttalat. Baserat på min erfarenhet berodde detta förmodligen på en felaktig installation av ett envägsavloppsrör under byggnationen. Jag anlände väldigt sent och åkte tidigt nästa morgon.

The hostel is super trendy! Walking in, I had to make sure I was at the right place because the reception is a cosy bar! The staff did not speak English but we overcame the language barriers using WeChat. Everyone is very friendly and patient! Even the dog called 由由! The cubicle beds are more luxurious than other hostels I stayed at. They are spacious and provide almost complete privacy. I also received slippers, so it was extra cosy! The bathroom can be improved because without shower curtain even the toilet gets wet, but it is spacious enough to keep your clothes dry. This hostel is suitable for longer stays as well, especially with friends because they have many activities and games at the hostel. Reception helps with the organisation of tours to the grasslands and many other trips as well (although these tours are fully in Chinese. So some Chinese language skills are recommended). If I ever return to Chengde, then I will stay there again!
