春節期間才開業的民宿，剛裝修好，全部都是新的，完全不用擔心衞生問題，房間樸實無華不是那種酒店風格，很温馨。房間各種用品和傢俱設施質量都好，很幸運訂到這家店，可以看出細節做得很到位老闆老闆娘熱情好客，可以借老闆的電車在附近逛逛，老闆還特意開電車帶我們去他推薦的燒烤店，味道不錯價格又便宜！！！而且入住時大家都幫我們提行李，下次來建水還來住

Yizhai Medieval Stay (1) room had a bad musty smell (2) couldn't get the hansgrohe shower to work, as it was very late, instead of waking the owner, I took a bath, the water from the bath was barely lukewarm. (3) there was no floor towel provided, after the floor got wet it became very slippery, I slipped at least 3 times. (4) the toilet seat was cracked and the toilet seat hinge was not maintained, no matter how careful I was the seat would slip to one side and cause me to jolt my back. (5) the toilet flush handle was not working properly, have to manually push the handle back into its original position after each flush. (6) the projector screen was too large and I kept on banging into it (7) have to close windows for quiet, if leave them open everytime a car goes past sounds like someone is knocking on your door The staff were polite but unhelpful about the toilet issue, they said they would notify the boss but couldn't fix the problems. They didn't offer a room change. The above problems spoiled my stay experience. Apart from the above problems, I loved the decor, espec the panda cushion and the faux fireplace. The bathrobe was nice. There is room for improvement.

We had a truly enjoyable stay at this lovely homestay in Jianshui. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, giving us a comfortable place to relax after exploring the town. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture. Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui. Highly recommended—we would happily stay here again!

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the owner for the wonderful BBQ Doufu gathering they organized for all the guests. It was such a thoughtful and kind gesture, and it truly made our stay even more memorable. The effort they put into bringing everyone together, preparing the delicious food, and creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere did not go unnoticed. It was a joy to meet the other guests, share stories, and enjoy the fantastic BBQ Doufu in such a beautiful setting. Their hospitality and attention to detail made the evening truly special. This homestay is not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and a sense of community. We are so grateful for the memories we’ve made here, and the BBQ gathering was the perfect highlight of our time. Chaoyangmen and the ancient city is just around the corner from the homestay. The room is clean and has a heated bidet which is fantastic in winter. The lady owner and her mother are very nice people as were the staff. Despite being closed to the ancient city, we were pleasantly surprised by the tranquility of the place. When we were there from 17-19 December, 2025, it was advantageous as we could just walk to Chaoyang to witness the singers practising for the Blueberry award event on 19 December. However, as with many ancient towns in the region, the streets are cobbled stones. We had small suitcases so we could just carry them. I hate to have to push large suitcases on cobbled stone streets. Finally, we enjoyed the porridge breakfast - beautifully arranged.

For their competitive pricing, we can overlook the small imperfections. Overall clean and comfortable. Location is great, right inside the ancient city and good restaurants just downstairs

I had a lovely one night stay here, but I wish I had more days. The location is within the ancient city but in a quiet street so you can easily access the sights without being in the crowd. The owner is the architect of the place, and you can see the thoughtfulness and taste everywhere. The decor is beautiful but not overly done, and details are delicate. I had the room with a slide and it was a creative addition. The towels are super soft and all the hardwares are high quality. At night the owner invited me to drink tea with him and another couple who was also traveling. We talked about our travel stories and beliefs - it was a wonderful time and left great memories in Jianshui!

老闆一家人美心善，特別有親和力，一開始房間安排的1樓小朋友不喜歡，後來直接讓我們升級房型，住到了3樓，有一個自帶的陽台。老闆娘一定是一個愛生活的人，在陽台種了很多盆多肉，晚上回到房間看着外面的風景，一種安靜愜意的美好，小朋友在這裏住的也很舒服，點贊。

來建水挖到一家寶藏新店！剛開業完全沒有裝修味，大堂和公區設計雅緻，房間寬敞明亮，設施全是嶄新的，智能馬桶、高速WiFi都配齊。衞生真的無可挑剔，角落無灰塵、床品潔白無污漬，衞浴乾濕分離超乾爽。免費停車場車位充足，自駕停車超省心；房間隔音做得極佳，夜裡安靜到一覺睡到天亮。前台服務熱情，辦理入住退房都很快，還主動分享建水遊玩攻略，升級了投影雙床房。性價比拉滿，下次來建水必須再住這家，已經推薦給同行朋友！
