"Good hotel, very close to the bus station and the room has everything you need.
It took us some time to find the place since there’s no “Mercury Hotel” sign anywhere, but showing the booking text to a local helped—they even found an English speaker for us. If you’re booking here, just note that the entrance is at the back of the building, not on the main street. It’s a small entrance."

"The place is very close to the bus station so it is convenient. It is by the river that flows through the city. The rooms are clean, modern, and efficient. The owner couple are so friendly and always do their best for their clients. I went on a day tour with the owner and a couple other travelers. He gave us plenty of time to walk around, no time pressure. The views are magnificent on the tour. A very good place to stay."

"Chose this room because it’s near the bus station, I just stay one night in Kangding waiting for the bus to Daocheng next day. But overall it’s good, location is good and near many restaurants. Even the room have a little smell but It’s quite clean. They even give me some food for breakfast when I leave the hotel in early morning 🥹"

"對比了周邊幾家住宿的，選擇了這家！位置極好老闆實在不囉嗦包停車，價格很實惠！美中不足的就是他這棟樓確實很舊了，有些年頭！但是房間還可以，設施齊全，特別是這床很舒服！晚上出奇的安靜！這次住宿我還是很滿意的，康定還是值得一來的，白天美，晚上更美！"

"房間非常好像老闆拍的照片一樣，去哪都可以走路過去，因為沒地停車，加上縣城不大。
不足是就是第一次去可能有點難找，最好根據門牌好找（他家門口還沒有號，但是邊上住户都有）
另外他們家旁邊十幾米就有一個停車場，過夜30。馬路對面也🈶車位，但基本全滿。
房間熱水一般，感覺是温的。"

For a long time, many people from far and near have come to purify and recuperate, and after soaking, their whole body feels comfortable, tender, smooth, and refreshing, hence it is also known as a medicinal spring. Through our careful design, it is built along the mountains, rocks, and rivers, fully integrating nature, making the body and soul feel as if they are perfectly immersed in the fairyland of the valley.
"This place was great! The staff was friendly, the check-in was easy, our room was very clean, and the windows were large and opened.The toilet seat was warm. The shower was modern. There was a good heater. And most of all, the hot pools are beautifully done with natural stone, clean, nice and dark at night, and a variety of temperatures."

LLui de PaulaExcellent hotel in the borders of the Tagong grasslands. When we arrived, we were a bit worried that it was too far from the town, but the owner gracefully drove us there the next morning.
After sitting down and watching the view for a while, we were completely satisfied for having chosen this place.
The owner is extremely nice, we talked with him a few times. The hotel is on the land behind his family's home, so it's all very cozy. When we had problems calling a taxi from Muya temple, he went there to pick us up himself. He also assisted us on finding a ride back to Kangding.The ******* breakfast was very good, as well.
Even though it is a tent and the toilet is shared, we found it cleaner than almost all hotels in the same price range in China. The beds are also nicely soft.

GGästanvändareThis was a great friendly hostel with a really helpful and warm owner. It’s right by the bus station down by the river and has an absolutely beautiful view in the valley right outside. The common area is cool (all glass so very bright) and really nicely furnished, and sometimes they will light a fire in the evening to make it cosy. The room was really comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping at all. The owner also helped me find interesting things to do in the area and even helped me find a solution when the bus I wanted to take was fully booked. I’d really recommend staying here. It’s also a fast walk to the centre of town and easy to get to the temples etc, I’d say it’s the best location because you can easily get to other places with the bus station so near by as well.

GGästanvändareI have never met such lovely hotel staff members. They helped me book trips, gave me tips around acclimatization and things to do and so much more. If I return to Kangding, I'll stay here again, for the amazing and kind service! Aside from that, the room had a working AC, hot shower (though requires a little figuring out) and a TV that I could connect to with the HDMI cable they had in the router. The location is rather quite at the north eastern end of the city, which I preferred to the center. It takes around 15 minutes to get to the city center by foot and there's plenty of taxis for around 5 yuan to take you to other parts of the very elongated city. The hotel also has a large lobby with tables, though of course it's a bit cold there.

XXieerhejiananfeng超級滿意，乾淨衞生，服務不錯，價格也很便宜，我真心推薦大家入住這家酒店。旁邊的河水湍流不息特別有助於睡眠。
我也非常真心推薦大家去吃隔壁 邛崍飯館的 氂牛肉鍋 味道絕對一級棒 還有 他家的早餐也很豐富，老闆真的好熱情好客 四川人真的很好。酒店和隔壁的邛崍飯館 還有康定的夜景 雖然衹有一個晚上是我這一生難忘的回憶留下的最好印象。
飯館就在卡薩酒店門靠門。

GGästanvändareWe happen to visit Dartsedo (or commonly know as Kanding) in October, at the time of a big national holiday. So, the town was full of visitors from the mainland. Our original hotel has rejected our booking and this hostel was one of the very few options left. We booked 3 rooms in total.
There are lots of good things that could be said about this hostel. The owner and the staff ladies were very nice and super helpful. They had accepted to wash our bag of travel clothes in the facilities free of charge, which was very kind. The rooms were what could be expected from this type of accommodation and for booking last minute. All was much nicely arranged that what we have expected for a hostel and the bedding were very clean .The common areas where also kept clean at all time. The shower area are on the small side, but all had hot water, towels, overall not great as maintenance but clean and functional.
Our room was probably the only one that was facing a brick wall not a street, but we were OK with it. Anyone visiting this area from the West, should be ready to use squat toilets, which are common in this part of the world. Our room was probably the only one equipped with it. The bed had some kind of board instead of a mattress, but still was comfortable to sleep. The location was great. Obviously if you are a Westerner, you shouldn't expect a peaceful place , but this hostel is on the main street leading to the ”Love square”, with many nice places to eat and buy what you need. And the walk up to the central town is short and pleasant.
The only recommendation we can make is to put some mosquitos repellent, Our room was for some reason had the most and that made it difficult to sleep..
On the downside, but we know it's a common problem for the town- there is no parking for the hostel and in general very difficult to find a parking place in this town. And the hostel is on the 3rd floor, so you should be prepared to take your luggage on the stairs.

GGästanvändare環境可以，挺舒服，而且服務真的很好，老闆很熱心，感覺有點像至關重要的人物一樣被對待，原本想嚐嚐的酥油茶，在走的時候正好遇到老闆娘有空，她給我免費嚐了酥油茶和藏粑，滿足了我此次行程的願望，真的服務沒話説，如果滿分是100，我可以給夠兩百分。

JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

GGästanvändareWe really enjoyed our time at Tuoma Homestay. The rooms were clean, cosy and had a nice local feel. It’s a peaceful place that gives you a real sense of the area.
What made it special was how welcoming and thoughtful the host was. We always felt well looked after and it made travelling here so much easier and more enjoyable.
If you’re looking for a comfortable place with kind people and an authentic atmosphere, Tuoma Homestay is a great choice.
