"It was a great experience staying at Xihu Hotel in Longyan! I upgraded my stay to a very nice spacious quiet room with wc, shower and washing machine, it was recently renovated and super comfortable, perfect for having a good rest after visiting the Fujian Tulou and the historic city of Tingzhou.
The hotel is located very close to the train station and has plenty of options for places to eat nearby.
Qui Suchen is a great host, she really wants you to feel like home in Longyan!

"This was my third time stay at 汉庭酒店火车站店. Both day and night shift staff, maids, and chefs are very service minded. I wish I could give all of them ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Rooms are always clean. And I like the fact that every 汉庭 has commercial washers and dryers so I can always keep my clothes clean. Location is perfect, just 6 minutes from the Railway Station. You can get to the nearest International airport (厦门高崎) within an hour. There will be fourth, fifth, and Xth stays at 汉庭酒店火车站店！Sorry I took photos of the hotel in my previous reviews."

"I enjoyed my short stay here. It was very conveniently located to the train station. However, it was hard to find foods so I had to order food online. The hotel is very clean, but my room did smell a little bit like smoke. So I had to keep the window open, but unfortunately the window screen was a bit broken so some mosquitoes came in. But once the smell was mostly out, it was a really pleasant stay. The bathroom was really clean and the bedding was spotless. Watching TV was also nice and I really enjoyed the breakfast. It was delicious. One of the best I've had actually!"

TTan FrancisA great escape from city life. Very relaxing environment with green and country side feel. Lunch and dinner is very delicious. A stroll to the tulou is not far away and you can enjoy the scenery throughout.
Since this area is in a tulou scenic area, you will need to apply for a pass RMB 90 to get through security. Advisable to call the minsu and ask them for application procedure especially for foreigners. Age above 65 is free to enter .
The only cons is that the mattress is too thin.
Overall it is a very wonderful stay . Love this place..

MMonsterOnVacaySpending a night at Changdi Inn, nestled in the heart of the historic Hongkeng Tulou Cluster, was truly one of the most unforgettable experiences of my Xiamen trip. The inn is located within a centuries old Hakka earthen building, and the moment you step inside, you will be instantly transported back in time.
The stay offers an immersive look into traditional Hakka culture and architecture, surrounded by thick earthen walls, wooden beams, and antique details that speak volumes of the past. What mak it extra special was meeting the friendly innkeeper, a 6th generation descendant of the family that built and preserved this Tulou. He shared stories and local insights making the whole experience even more meaningful.
The room was simple yet clean and comfortable, blending rustic charm with basic modern comforts. I got to enjoy authentic Hakka meals, lovingly prepared and bursting with homestyle flavor, perfect after a day of exploring.
Waking up in the peaceful village setting, watching the locals go about their daily lives, and hearing the birds chirping outside, it's a rare, soulful escape from the city.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special.
The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks.
But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget.
The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless.
In summary:
· Hospitality: Unmatched. The family's kindness is the #1 reason to stay here.
· Authenticity: A true Tulou living experience.
· Convenience: Perfect location for exploring the nearby Tulou clusters.

GGästanvändareThe 3-story building is very nice and is well kept. Its location in the Tulou buildings area is very convenient. Rooms are spacious and comfortable but the towels are small. The hosts are kind and can give you many tips for the area including sites to see and food to eat. The common areas are very spacious there are plenty of places to sit and relax. I would stay here again.

惠惠youngI came here alone and was so captivated by the charm of this place that I stayed for two days. A neighbor who was like an older sister to me here took me to the observatory. Everyone helped me and they were so kind. I was very lucky to be able to stay at the Chengqi Tower. I want to express my respect for the greatness of the Hakka people. I am leaving after receiving such a valuable experience and emotion. I hope everyone here will be blessed with good luck. *Boss. It would be nice to have a wall mirror in front of the table in the guest room. And it would be better if the towels were a little bigger.🤭

LLanmao6321該客棧就在景區門口三十米遠的大路邊，很容易就找到了，這是一個小型的客棧，房間寬敞明亮，床鋪乾淨整潔，衞浴配套齊全。客棧門口的對面就有一座大型的土樓，很漂亮，尤其是夜晚，土樓開燈後，很美，土樓裏晚上有節目表演，有幸看到了燃放的禮花，很開心。老闆很熱情也很熱心，他們店裡還有餐飲服務，在他家住了一天，三頓飯都在他家吃，做的味道很好，有家的感覺。
這家客棧交通方便，經濟實惠，服務周到，值得信賴，給五星好評！

SSarah PotterThe hotel was perfectly located across the road from the Prince Tolou and just a short walk to the evening bon fire show. I loved the country feel about this location!
The owner helped arrange a driver for me to collect me from the train, drive me to a number of locations, and return me to the train station the next day. She arranged tickets to the bon fire show, took me there on the back of her bike and offered to pick me up (I chose to walk throigh the little dark streets because it was a lovely evening). She invited me to sit and drink tea with her and her friends, and made me feel like part of the family. As a westerner, the bed was a little hard for me, but i was very comfortable in my room. A must see area of China!

GGästanvändareThis place is really nice, staying in one of these Tulous is a great experience, the village is very nice an authentic. It is a bit of a hassle to get there, as public transport is not really an option, you'll need a ride from train station (I got from Longyan and it costed me 300 yuan). It is indeed worth it, but prepare for not much English (the owner's daugher, if she's around, can speak some decent english and is very nice), basic facilities, basic local food, etc.

GGästanvändareEverything was good until taxi service provided by accommodation. Driver was rude, making decisions where to go and when to go on his own against agreement with the hotel owner, non-communicative, escalated the conflict in the end and dropped me off far from railway station. Was supposed to drive me around for 4 hours, instead only 2.5, that including all the time wasted on disputes. As a result I didn't see what I wanted to see and both of us got angry. I paid him less, but I don't think he deserves money at all because of his attitude and the fact that I didn't get the service I wanted.
