Mr Li has been very accommodating and kind, giving us a lift to and from the train station and helping us with our luggages. The place is simple and nice, and has everything we needed, especially warmth from the cold.

The hotel is really nice and in the authentic style of Pingyao. It is quite closed from the east gate and from the ancient city center. The owner is really friendly, speaks good English and is doing everything to make you enjoy your stay. He did explained very well all the activity and provide help if needed. The room is clean and we didn't care about the size as we were out all day. If I have to suggest one thing, it will be to have bigger mattresses as they are quite hard but it's a personal preference.

我們這次來平遙入住隅舍真是幸運無比，太正確的選擇！旅店離南門東門、文廟城隍廟都很近，走去南大街也就是幾分鐘路程，位置好、設備新不說，老闆還特別親切熱情❤️老闆給我們介紹了山西的醋文化，根據我們的行程給我們推薦了平遙的遊玩路線，還幫我們安排了去看晚間又見平遙演出跟燈光秀的接送，溫暖的關懷讓我們就像回到家了一樣，晚上我們逛街太晚回來還會收穫老闆的關心💕這次在平遙待的時間雖然短暫但非常愉快，住在隅舍是其中一大因素，強烈推薦！！ Staying at Yushe Guest House was hands down the best decision of our Pingyao trip! We felt so lucky to have found this gem. The location is unbeatable—super close to the South and East Gates, 文庙, and 城隍庙. It’s only a few minutes' walk to South Avenue! On top of that, the place has brand new facilities, and most importantly the owner is incredibly warm and welcoming. ❤️ He shared so much about Shanxi’s vinegar culture with us and gave us excellent local tips on how to plan our sightseeing. He even arranged rides for us to see the Pingyao show and the free light show. It honestly felt like a home away from home (he even checked in on us when we stayed out late exploring😭🫶🏻) Though our stay in Pingyao was brief, it was such a highlight of our trip, largely thanks to staying here. Highly, highly recommend! 🌟

We stayed at thos lovely hotel. Lovingly restored by the current owner Mr Wang. He is the 6th generation owner of the property. Until 10 years ago it was a derelict and dilapidated building. He poured money, time, blood, sweat and tears to restore it And it does feel and look like a traditional house. You feel you are going back in time. Firstly the customer service is way beyond the call of duty. Its so good, i would recommend staying with mr Wang at whatever hotel he runs. He picked us at the Lower East Gate, and brought us to the hotel, then took nearly half an hour to explain in great detail where we need to visit, whether the sights be in the city or outside the city. Some of his suggestions, not on the tour books were very good . For example he suggested 3 restaurants, and we avoided them thinking he was getting a kickback.on our 4th and last day we tried restaurant no 2 of his. And it was good , the food and service were good. The prices were average with other restaurants and we got a 10% discount being the hotel's guests. And remember we had eaten 10 meals by the time we came to his suggestions. Another suggestion of Mr Wang was Ma family home - also a very good tip from him. Everytime we had a request or question he always responded with enthusiasm. On our last day we checked out at 4am and he still took us to the pick up point at that ungodly hour. Yep Mr and Mrs Wang's customer service is just first class. The room was large, queen deluxe double, and the furnishings were traditional chinese furniture made of Rosewood. Very Expensive furniture for a hotel room. Shower worked well and was hot. However be aware its chinese style wet floor system ie there is no shower curtain between the shower and a small part of the bathroom does get wet if youare not careful. MR Wang said it will be one his improvement on his priority list. Hopefully by the time you booked the problem will have been resolved The hotel is very close to the main streets. About 5 min walk. The city of pingyao is worth visiting, it is one of the very walled cities left in China, with its old buildings intact and people still living it. All the city walls are also intact. Magnificent at night.

Excellent location, inside the old city but next to the west gate to go to the train station. Although the staff does not speak English they are very friendly. The room is perfect, with an ancient feeling but all the modern facilities. It is clean and very quiet at night. Rooms surround a lovely courtyard. Great value for money.

這次平遙之行，非常榮幸選擇了榮耀民宿，雖然在古城外，但出行超方便，步行5-6分鐘就到古城入口，還免去了古城內交通管制的麻煩。房間乾淨又温馨，床品軟乎乎的，晚上一沾枕頭就睡着。民宿老闆是一名二十年的退役老兵，服務超熱情，不僅幫忙規劃路線，還推薦了很多本地人常去的小店，價格非常優惠才幾十塊錢，真的是物超所值。特別推薦大家可以入住體驗

The hotel is located in Pingyao's Old City, very close to the Ancient Government tourist landmark. I found the level of service outstanding. Even though there was a language barrier they were always eager to help. I liked the courtyard and in the room I felt like I was sleeping in one of the museums I visited in Pingyao. Additional perks include free laundry and free transport to the train station. As a drawback, the wifi connection didn't work well for me. To sum up excellent value for money.

The owner was kind enough to pick me up from the parking lot as no cars are allowed into the Ancient town. The bathroom could really use an upgrade. The toilet seat was cracked and the shower has little water pressure. The hot water was turned off. I had to call the owner to turn on the hot water. It took awhile before the hot water came out. I couldn't enjoy a good shower.
