They were always on hand to help with anything he needed - booking taxis, suggesting suitable local restaurants that were easy to get to, and checking in on him daily to ensure he was doing well. He said he never felt alone or worried during his stay, which meant the world to our family. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, but it’s the outstanding, personalized care from the staff that made this experience truly exceptional. He’s already planning his next trip back! Highly recommend for solo travelers, especially seniors - you couldn’t ask for better support and service.

I recently stayed here as a Belgian Chinese traveler, and even though my Chinese isn’t very strong, I was welcomed with so much warmth. This hostel is a true hidden gem, tucked away from the typical tourist trails in a quiet part of the village. It’s the perfect location: right by the fields and some very trendy coffee shops, yet only a 5-minute scooter ride from the main bay and the best surf spots. The owners, Shuiku (水库) and Xiaoxiao (笑笑), really made my trip. Shuiku immediately helped me sort out a scooter and personally showed me where to find the best waves, while Xiaoxiao’s English is quite good, which made everything so much easier. They also pointed me toward some local restaurants that were all absolutely delicious. The vibe of the place is just great. It’s incredibly clean because the cleaning lady and Shuiku himself clean the place several times a day. I loved the design of the indoor chill-out area, though sitting outside to enjoy the tropical weather was just as good. There’s a washing machine which is super handy, and you can rent surfboards for a very fair, cheap price. Because the owners' friends drop by almost daily, there’s always a lively, authentic atmosphere. I met a great mix of foreign tourists and Chinese solo travelers trekking around the island by bike or motorcycle. Many Chinese couples and families where staying too, it is very kid-friendly too. I even ended up meeting a French girl there, and we spent a whole week surfing together. If you're looking for a peaceful yet social spot to surf, this is it. =========================================================== （抱歉，我使用的是翻译软件，如果有语法错误请见谅。） 我是一名来自比利时的华裔，虽然我的中文说得不太好，但在这里我感受到了极其热情的款待。这家青旅真的是一个宝藏地，它远离了那种商业化的旅游路线，坐落在村子里一个非常安静的地方。过马路就是田野和几家非常时髦的咖啡馆，位置绝佳：既能享受安静，骑摩托车去海湾和冲浪点也只要5分钟。 老板水库 (Shuiku) 和老板娘笑笑 (Xiaoxiao) 人真的太好了。水库二话没说就帮我搞定了租摩托车的事，还亲自带我去看了最好的几个冲浪点。笑笑的英语说得挺流利，这对沟通帮助很大。他们推荐的几家餐厅也全都超级好吃，完全没有踩雷。 青旅的环境没得说，非常干净，我看到保洁阿姨和水库每天都会打扫好几次。室内休息区的设计感很强，在那儿待着很舒服，或者在院子里享受海南的好天气也很惬意。这里还有洗衣机可以用，冲浪板的租借价格也非常公道。 最让我喜欢的是这里的氛围。老板的朋友们经常过来串门，所以感觉特别亲切、有生活气息。我在这里遇到了很多外国游客，还有不少骑自行车或摩托车环岛的中国驴友。我甚至还结识了一位法国姑娘，我们俩一起冲浪了一整个星期。很多中国夫妇和家庭也住在这里，这里也非常适合带孩子入住。如果你想在海南找一个既能安静休息又能结识有趣朋友的冲浪点，选这里准没错。

I came to Wanning with no expectations or plans, I was on a short layover in Hainan and decided to spend one night here. My stay even for one night was nothing short of amazing. The hosts Cicy and Jerry welcomed me upon arrival and made me feel right at home, the room was in pristine condition and felt very personalised and inviting. The place itself was nothing short of superb, but the real highlight was the hospitality offered by the hosts Cicy and Jerry. They knew I was staying only for one day, so they planned a full 1 day itinerary for my time here. I was given suggestions on activities in the surrounding area, and I was driven around by them to some authentic beatiful locations such as a coffee plantation and local restaurant. They made me feel like I was home away from home, even in a country that is so diffferent to my own (England). I can recommend anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic retreat in this area to come here, and I will certainly be coming back. Thankyou Cicy and Jerry.

The apartment is nice, and we got an upgrade. However, not recommended for foreigners because you can't add Wechat with the phone numbers provided. The place itself is deteriorating because you have to cross a bridge to rent an e-bike. We used a taxi instead. The local government destroyed the area and many restaurants are closed.

本人聲明，全程無廣，純純個人感受真實評價。 1. 地理位置：酒店位置真的很好很好，出門兩三百米就是神州半島商業街，離沙灘海邊也很近。小區外觀也很豪華，小區內部也很乾凈，環境也很好。 2. 寬敞舒適：空間非常寬敞，佈局合理，沒有絲毫侷促感，有大浴缸，還有雙人洗漱台。外面還有陽台陽台也很大，還有椅子跟小桌子可以在外面喝點小酒。在陽台又直接能看到海景海景真的很美。 3. 服務品質：我們一共住了兩天，第二天缺衞生紙和礦泉水了，老闆親自來送，服務態度特別周到，特別好。 4.房間佈局也很寬敞整體感受真的很好，冰箱製冷也很厲害。

I stayed here for 5 days in the off season. Booked a single room, price was decent. The bed was comfortable, it had a desk for me to work during the day. There's a gym on the ground level that honestly has all the equipment I needed, a rare thing in these parts. The owner is from dongbei and was super friendly, he treated us to baijiu and frozen pears (dongbei). This was a great spot to chill out for a while and relax. I should probably mention that my Mandarin is pretty good. I met another traveller that could speak English but other than that you might need to whip out the ol goog translate. I needed to move on otherwise I would've stayed here longer, great place!

Very clean and modern hotel, super friendly staff, and great location close to all food/night events, but far enough from the loud bars that you get some noise reduction. The West end of the beach is less than a minute walk, but the surfing beach is a 10 minute walk on the far East end. I'll definitely stay here again when I return. 🤙🏼

這次來萬寧想找個能徹底“擺爛”的地方，沒想到被這家藏在沙灘邊的民宿狠狠圈粉！從踏入院子的那一刻起，就被那種自由又温暖的氛圍擊中——老闆和店員都超熱情，沒有那種冷冰冰的商業感，反而像老朋友一樣招呼我們，連帶着家裡的貓貓狗狗都湊過來蹭腿，瞬間把旅途的疲憊都揉散了。 位置真的絕了！房間直麪大海，推開窗就是天然沙灘，光腳跑出去就能踩到細軟的沙子，早晚都能看海浪翻湧，晚上聽着海風聲入睡，這種“海景房”的含金量誰住誰知道！而且民宿裏還有個沙灘餐酒吧，晚上和朋友窩在沙灘椅上，點一份燒烤，配上冰鎮飲料，海風一吹，整個人都酥在那種chill到骨子裡的鬆弛感裏。 順便誇一句，這裏的調酒很有驚喜！招牌“媽樂個芭子”用椰子和菠蘿裝着，熱帶味道直接拉滿，連調酒小哥自創的意麪都意外好吃（祕密武器是海南小黃椒！），要是能加進菜單就更完美了。唯一的小遺憾是，聽説另一個科羅納海灘吧還沒完全開放，DJ也沒趕上，不過光是現在的體驗，已經覺得這趟來值了。

A perfect place to stay in Riyuewan Bay. Chuck and his lovely family are your caring hosts. The rooms are spacious, sparkling clean with a cosy matress. Everything you need is in walking distance. Especially for me, the surfrental right infront of the place, the surfspots around the corner. Chuck helps you to arrange everything. From surfboard, transport, travel recommendations. Second time staying here in Surfer's Garden. Super friendly to foreigners. Staff can speak some conversational English. Great vibes here if you love active travel with local night life experience. It's located in the village, but it's easy to reach out to the beach line just in 10-15 min walk or several minutes on a e-scooter that you can rent directly in the store. Welcome to negotiate for a better rent price 😁. 60 - ＞ 40 RMB. If you are lucky, you might can find a lower price in the village. Many local food stores and convenience stores just outside of hotel. For renting the surf board, I'd recommend go directly to the stands right on the beach (right side of the beach, closer the bridge that connects the island with living compound). 80-100 RMB per board for one time use (a couple of hours). Absolutely must go to Kaya and other bars for late drinking and partying! You can meet lots of cool young Chinese people.
