Owner drove us from our accoms to the Huashan visitor centre! After finishing our itinerary at Huashan, he drove us from the visitor centre itself to Huashanbei Station! Accommodation was amazing, on par with 3/4 star hotel! He also provided us with free mineral water. Inside the room itself there is a small water dispenser as well!

一個人獨自來的。作為學生黨每次出行都住的青旅，也住過很多地方的青旅，這一家算是我住過最好的。老闆特別好，是一位爺爺和婆婆。我一共住了三天，有一次我看見爺爺晚上十二點了還在給旅客講解爬山的路線，爬山的早上爺爺還送給我一雙手套，青旅一共有三層，第三層還有桌球，晚上還去打了一下。臨走前婆婆還叫住我給我送了一瓶水。真的，獨自一人出行卻感受到了家的熱情。但是我還是提一下小小的建議就是青旅的床有輕微的晃動，建議在門外放一個鞋架，不然大家都爬完山脱在屋裡會有味道。對於我個人來説這些其實都是小問題。衹是希望這家青旅越來越好。

Room is spacious and reasonably clean. Bed is comfortable. A family operation, is literally 3-5 mins walk from the Tourist Service Area, where one can purchase the entry ticket and is the entry point to ascend the north peak (including to reach the north peak cable car). If you prefer to hike all the way up instead of cable up, the start of walking trail is slightly more than 30mins walk away but seems like there is a free shuttle bus that would transfer people between this Tourist Service Area and the start of the walk trail. If you come by ”normal” train, you are about 10mins drive away. The husband of the hotel provides a one time service to either pick up or drop off to the train station. I suggest to use it for the latter as you would have hoards of cabbies trying to bring you from station. Currently the area where is the hotel is partially obscured by a major road expansion but don't let the cabby coax you to cancel this booking and move to their recommended hotels in the more touristic ”village centre”. On paper it sounds great but I find most eateries there sell the same choice of food and goods. For food, the wife of the hotel also operates a eatery on the ground floor of the hotel which I find tasty and reasonably priced. Note that this is budget hotel of simple fittings but I personally find of good value for money for a couple of nights after a long day up in the mountain. (I believe parking might be free there too but do check with owner to confirm).

Best location, excellent room, boss & wife very friendly & practical by giving free gloves, ample parking spaces, eateries around every corners, convenient store own by same boss & many others everywhere nearby. No wonder high ratings from other customers which I totally agree. Thank you ! note: photo is entrance for hikers

A Truly Memorable Stay – Incredible Hospitality at the Foot of Mount Huashan I stayed here while preparing to hike the legendary Mount Huashan from the bottom, and I can honestly say the experience was made all the more special thanks to the incredible kindness and hospitality of the owners. From the moment I arrived, the owners went out of their way to make me feel at home. They provided a detailed and helpful briefing on how to explore the mountain safely, including routes, timings, and what to expect—something that gave me great confidence going into such a challenging hike. The real highlight, however, was their extraordinary help when I accidentally left my camera in a taxi. What could have been a disaster turned into a heartwarming reminder of genuine human kindness. The owners took it upon themselves to contact the driver, coordinate the return, and made sure I got my camera back safely. They didn’t have to go to such lengths, but they did so without hesitation. They were also incredibly accommodating when it came to practical matters—arranging food deliveries after a long day on the trail, and organizing a smooth taxi ride back to the train station when it was time to leave. If you're planning to hike Mount Huashan and are looking for a place that feels more like staying with family than in a hotel, this is the one. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

客棧離華山徒步登山口很近，位置很方便，附近也有很多吃的。客棧房間衞生整潔，睡得舒服。老闆很熱情，有什麼問題都很細心的幫我們解答。祝老闆生意興隆

Clean place with thick and nice blanket. Charging port also available in some of the bed. Bed selection was first come first serve so be there early. Location is nearer to north peak than central peak. Still need to hike a distance to reach central peak so location not the best. Toilet is the public access toilet, with a small distance. Restaurant available at the inn.

Simple accommodation. Don’t expect too much. The room is decently clean. The Toilet is outside public toilet. I also wouldn’t trust the cleanliness of the water for flushing to wash my hands. No running water. Better bring your own water for washing and brushing teeth. The capsule rooms at a separate building which is at 300 steps below the rest of the other rooms. If you want proper dinner and breakfast (self paid), better stay at the 10 pax dormitory where there are cafe and restaurant. The cafe beside only has instant noodles and they closed early. The capsule “door” also cannot close all the way. There are only 2 pieces … short of 1 or 2… Good thing is that hot water is provided here if you bring instant noodles. You are also able to watch sunrise directly at the porch outside.

This is a very basic hostel type accommodation with very few amenities but in a location that is hard to beat. Right next to the west peak in the same building as a temple with the trail going right through the building (under the reception/restaurant). The pictures are taken at sunset from the peak about 3 minutes from the hostel. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The hostel shares the public toilets in the building complex. If you are ok with very basic accommodations but are looking for location, this could be for you.
