"had the best time here, sudder st staff were super friendly. made really good friends and even extended my stay, was meant to be in yangshuo 2 nights to find people to go hiking with in xingping, ended up hanging around and exploring for 5! hostel in a quieter part of town which was great in terms of fireworks at this time of year; but still close to cbd-10 mins walk and plenty of local stalls in the area. their tour and transfer service as well as rental scooters/free bikes made it super convenient to get to climbing places a bit further from town. can even buy/send post cards from here. loved every minute and would definitely come again, recommend for anyone wanting to meet others to go rock climbing, yangshuo is well known for this and plenty of people stay here."

"Super best hotel because they have BIDET. We need it so much. It is located near a local market. We bought a lot of orange fruits which taste soooo sweet & good. The kids like it so much. A lot of local foods restaurants around the hotel. Its also within walking distance to the spot in the 20 rmb bill. The family room has a very good view from the window. We can rent a bike from the hotel for 20 rmb a day. The host are very friendly & nice. Thank you very much"

The guesthouse is surrounded by mountains on all sides with beautiful scenery. The property features a private garden and a private restaurant. It is located near the entrance of the Yulong River National Tourist Resort, just a 10-minute walk or 5-minute electric bike ride to the Qianquqing Scenic Area. It is 10 minutes by car and 15 minutes by electric bike to the West Street Scenic Area, making travel to various scenic spots very convenient.
"I had a wonderful experience here! The location was perfect, and the family who runs the place was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They assisted me with all my bookings and gave excellent recommendations for the best attractions in the area. The restaurant is one of the best I’ve ever tried. Highly recommended!"

"首先是房間：酒店位置很好找，一眼就能看到，就在西街，房間大小合適，被褥很乾凈舒服，衞生間是乾濕分離的，還有一個超大的化粧鏡🪞，洗澡噴頭也很大，特別舒適。
其次是服務：老闆是東北的，很熱情，很細節，交流起來給人感覺很舒服。入住當天我們凌晨2點半才到，老闆等我們到1點半，晚上給電車充電也是送我們過去，又送回來，服務真的很到位了，入住後在這裏租了一輛電動車，比外面租要實惠，第二天直接騎行到十里畫廊那附近的景區，風景秀麗
總之，這次出來旅遊，吃住行遊 體驗感都非常棒，值得一遊！"

This hotel is located near many of Yangshuo's attractions including Yangshuo West Street, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Impression Sanjie Liu (Evening Showtime). This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Yangshuo hotel provides parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.
"While this hotel is located very centrally in Yangshuo, it looks very little like the photos.
The hotel and room feel more unmaintained than sleek and modern. There are lots of marks covering the walls and furniture and unprofessionally taped-on labels. Though a tiny room, staff hadn’t cleaned the filthy mirror. The room feels smaller than in the photos and the lighting isn’t relaxing and there are no windows. Fortunately, the bed and bathroom are decent enough.
I ended up staying three nights more out of convenience than comfort. The room felt moderately overpriced for the quality of the facilities, but perhaps it is on par with other rooms in the city."

"The hotel is perfectly located, clean, and has a rooftop, which is also a restaurant, that has an amazing view of the river and the mountains around it.
The room comes fully equipped, with water bottles, tooth brush, kettle, hairdryer, etc.
The reception lady, and maybe owner (I don't know, but she definitely could be), speaks perfect English and was very kind and helpful with practical and sightseeing information. The vibe is laidback and family like.
I would definitely recommend."

We made the best decision by staying in this hotel!! The owner is such a lovely lady – always greeting you warmly, helping out, asking if your room needs cleaning, and even bringing fresh fruit and water to your room. She’s awesome!!
And the room – wow! The big window with the most amazing view of the mountains. We even got a free upgrade to the room on the highest level so we could enjoy the best view. Right in front of us was this huge balcony that we could also access for free.
The room itself is really big and modern and has everything you need – including the best and most modern shower and toilet.
So all in all, we can really recommend booking this place. It’s just a 5-minute DiDi ride to the city center in Xingping – but you can also get electric scooters from the hotel for free, and it only takes about 10 minutes to get into the city. Plus, riding the scooters there is sooo nice – so much fun!"

Here is a couple from Guangzhou. They usually don’t have any hobbies, they just like to deal with people, so by some strange combination of circumstances, they took over a small B&B in Yangshuo. The B&B is not big, but I hope it will make you feel like you are at home. Our inn has a small amount of free parking spaces, and all rooms have balconies. The balconies are equipped with smoking areas. You can sit on the balcony in your free time, bask in the sun leisurely on sunny days, listen to the sound of rain comfortably on rainy days, and stay in the room to rest comfortably on cloudy days. Life is so pleasant, welcome to your arrival~
"來了陽朔好幾次了，又一次定了這裏，老闆説去年裝修過了，整個環境更温馨了，房間色調也更温馨了，大廳寬闊敞亮，設施也齊全，熱水空調WIFI洗漱用品一應俱全，洗手間夠大，陽台還是我最喜歡的，可以坐着發呆，刷手機，喝杯咖啡，晚上看看夜景，對了離西街也很近，走路3分鐘左右就到了，很方便，老闆給的攻略也更新了，推薦的吃的也不錯。這次去了飛拉達天梯攀巖，老闆這邊也有優惠票，挺值得的，用時1小時左右，很刺激。下次還會再來！"

JJeeaannOur stay at 小山居 (Xiao Shan Ju) was hands-down the highlight of our Yangshuo trip. We spent five days in Yangshuo and tried two different accommodations… but let’s just say our hearts checked in and never checked out of 小山居.
Yes, the location is a little more on the remote side, but honestly that’s part of its magic. It’s easily reachable by Didi or scooter, yet tucked away enough to feel like you’ve escaped into a quiet countryside village. They kept the charm of the old village house while giving it a modern, comfy upgrade. Bonus: the blanket was SO comfortable we literally flipped it over to find the brand because we wanted to buy it for ourselves.
And then there’s Aimee—the soul of the place. Warm, thoughtful, impossibly accommodating… and an amazing cook. She can whip up both Western-style brunches and Chinese breakfasts, all delicious, but a special shoutout goes to her 葱油面. It was so good we shamelessly asked for the recipe, which she kindly shared. Her food was so addictive that even after we moved to our next accommodation, we still went back for dinner.
If you’d like Aimee to cook for you, just let her know in advance—she buys her ingredients fresh from the market, and the veggies come straight from her garden!
If you’re heading to Yangshuo, we highly recommend staying here. Aimee also gives fantastic local recommendations—every single one was a hit, never a miss, never even a “so-so”.
We’d go back in a heartbeat. 💛

The room was quiet, spacious, and well kept, and the bed was comfortable enough to rest well after long days out. Getting around was easy with scooter rentals close by and simple food options nearby. What really made the stay smooth was the owner’s guidance — she helped map out our days realistically, steered us toward fairly priced experiences, and discouraged activities that weren’t worth the money. We arrived late on our first night and were still warmly welcomed, which immediately set the tone for the stay. Communication was always clear and timely, and the place felt safe and well managed. A small but memorable detail was Fa Cai, the calm and friendly house dog. If you prefer an honest stay without tourist traps, this homestay is a solid choice.

GGästanvändareThis guest house left me with mixed feelings. Let's start with the good things. The location is super convenient: right in the old town and yet in a relatively quiet area. It's close to the river so you can take a refreshing night stroll, and close to a delicious bakery/café you'll never forget. The atmosphere of the guest house is rustic and cozy, with a laundry room that, despite its very limited space, serves the purpose. There are also cats and a dog you can freely play with. The bed was comfortable for us (a bit on the harder side). The owners speak English so you can easily communicate with them. They are very kind and helpful.
However, a few things about this stay got me extremely disappointed, particularly taking into consideration the positive reviews I had read (which honestly I don't understand where they came from). The room was far from clean. There was a very visible layer of dust. The cushion seats had huge stains and looked dirty overall. The shower room did not get cleaned very regularly, as you can see from the picture. In general everything in the property looked outdated and cheap (wobbly sink taps, doors with huge gaps, that give way to all sorts of bugs and giant spiders..). The fact that the toilet is next to the shower room leaves no room for privacy and makes the toilet floor wet most of the time (this could be solved with a proper shower door instead of a curtain). In conclusion, I was more than happy to leave the property because it did not meet my standards for comfort and hygiene. However, if you don't particularly care about a certain degree of dirt and dust here and there, and are cool with bugs, then you should definitely go for it as you might really like the retro atmosphere of the place.

What an experience! The breathtaking view of the karst mountains from our accommodation was nothing short of spectacular. Just a short 15-minute drive away, the charming Old Town awaits, brimming with delightful eateries and flea-market spots to explore.
While I would recommend visiting during the off-season for a more peaceful experience, the lively atmosphere during peak times like CNY adds a vibrant energy to the area. Just a heads-up about the traffic; it can get a bit busy, especially on the way to the old town and near the scenic river, but it’s all part of the adventure! They have e-bikes for rent each day for 30rmb until 11:30pm.
Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Their children were absolutely delightful, adding a personal touch to our stay. We particularly loved their sweet and sour pork—definitely a must-try!
The room itself was a true retreat—gorgeous views and very clean. It was a pleasure to unwind in such a well-kept space.
It will be awesome if they can convert the rooftop - add some more comfortable seating and make it a nice spot for relaxing comfortably as we spent ample time up there each day. Most of our pictures are from the incredible rooftop!
All in all, our stay here was wonderful, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful blend of nature, hospitality, and local charm, this is the perfect spot for you!

AAlberta FilaferroThis is a wonderful family run guesthouse, where you can enjoy peace away from the hustle of Xingping Old Town. Differently from other types of accommodation we have seen in Dahe Bei village, this guesthouse is a hidden gem with charme and character. The food was excellent and abundant, freshly cooked by the owner herself. The owner picked us up from the Dahe Bei ferry dock, organised an electric moped rental in Dahe Bei (we didn't see many on that side of the river) and gave us plenty of tips and suggestions for where to go and what to do around there, including a sunrise hike to a nearby mountain that you can reach directly from the guesthouse - if you're into hiking (it's a 1h walk uphill through pomelo and orange orchards, followed by a series of staircases), it's a great spot, as we found only a few photographers when we got up there. The ginger cat and the house dog are cute and extremely friendly, adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. Our room was spacious and clean, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of hiking or driving around to see the surroundings. If we were to travel again in this area, we would definitely go back. Highly recommended!

Bed är bara en liten ”dubbel” och har en användbar kraftpunkt nära sängen till höger + ljuskontroller.Aircon fungerar bra (endast ett litet rum så att man kan förvänta sig).Allmänt, OK för 100 RMB per natt, men har några frågor.
Bokat ”specialpromotion” rum.Trip.com indikerar en rumsstorlek på 12 m kvadratmeter, vilket är felaktigt.Jag mätte den på 9.5 kvadrat, inklusive badrummet.Om inklusive den lilla balkongen (2.5 sq m), är det totala rumsareat 12 m bästa fallet. Bara tillräckligt stor för enstaka besättningar, med liten mängd bagage.Två människor skulle behöva klättra över varandra för att flytta runt.Inte där nära tillräckligt med utrymme för två bagage skulle behövas hålls utanför på balkongen!
Varmt vatten fungerar men är inte kalibrerat.Vare sig kokande varmt eller frysande kallt.Extremt svårt att hitta rätt temperatur för dusch med någon komfort.Jag sätter helt varmt och väntade.Vatten blev super varmt efter 40 sekunder. Justerad för att minska genom att ställa in mellan varmt/kylt, men vattentemperaturen förblev super varm.Sen trycktes till fullt kall.Vattentemperatur övergick till kall 29 sekunder senare.Sen sattes tillbaka till mittenläget men vatten förblev död kallt. Testade båda dessa vägar i minst 4 minuter vardera och förblev antingen värme eller frysning kall!!
Hotellet ger tecken på önskan att ”snälla rent rum” och jag hänger den på ytterdörren för två dagar, men till ingen nytta så kan bara anta att ägarna inte tillhandahåller denna tjänst. Denna fastighet är bara betygsatt som ett 2-stjärnigt hotell, och med tanke på den låga prispunkten kan du verkligen inte klaga - under förutsättning att priset är lågt.Acceptabelt för 100-120 RMB per natt.Oacceptabelt för mycket mer än detta.

Choosing LINJING HOMESTAY was a great decision! I recommend it 100%.
THE BEST OF A HOTEL: Spacious, beautiful, bright room with all the amenities and impeccable cleanliness. The views were fabulous, the bed was wonderful (large, with a comfortable, soft mattress and very soft sheets), it also had chairs and a table to work at, and the Wi-Fi worked very well. I liked that there were natural plants, too. The bathroom was fantastic. The bidet water gun was a pleasant surprise. You can shower with very hot water and good pressure. Don't worry if the floor gets wet: the water-repellent tiles dry very quickly. There are disposable towels if you want to bathe in the river, but there are also soft cotton towels and non-slip slippers to use in the hotel.
THE BEST OF A HOMESTAY: The hosts are a warm local family. I was touched by their kindness and hospitality. They helped me a lot and always gave me fruit and other nice things to eat. They were always willing to share a cup of tea. They also got me a motorbike at a very good price. And they let me use their washing machine for free. They even drove me to the station and dropped me directly on my bus.
THE SURROUNDINGS: The location is excellent. It is a quiet neighbourhood where local families live. You meet very friendly people all the time. You just have to cross the bridge in front of the hotel to get to the old quarter. Behind the hotel there is a path leading up to a viewpoint that few people know about. The path is very well signposted and is perfect for watching the sunset.

GGästanvändareInne på West Street är det väldigt bekvämt att shoppa och äta på kvällen. Miljön är bra att titta ner på West Street. Men någon från mästerkocken sjöng väldigt högt . Nyckeln är inte bra, det är lite bullrigt jag vill stanna på balkongen igen, så jag stänger balkongdörren och håller nere volymen, men jag kommer inte att sjunga efter klockan 12.
