"Amazing price for a central hostel. Easy friendly check in. Staying in girls dorm bunks which had curtains. Unfortunately they didn't reach to the end so not as private as expected. No lockers in our room only cages under the bed and you had to pay for a padlock so didn't bother. Nothing got stolen. Everyone very friendly. Rooms basic but comfy and roomy. Showers and loos like indoor portaloos. Breakfast nextdoor was ok. Tasty and just enough. Thank you for a great stay."

"The location is absolutely perfect — it’s literally right in front of the castle, and there are plenty of cafés around, so the vibes are really nice! 😍
BUT the room itself was super tiny — honestly, it felt claustrophobic. Definitely not recommended for families traveling around the UK with lots of luggage. Thankfully, the reception staff were very helpful and let us store our suitcases at the front desk because they knew the room couldn’t possibly fit all of them 🤓 I even had one of my suitcases stored in their locker, lol.
There was even one night when the AC in our room suddenly stopped working, but the staff handled it really well and helped us move to another room — no hassle at all, which we really appreciated!
One important heads-up: this hotel is not wheelchair-friendly. There’s no lift, so keep that in mind if accessibility is a concern."

"剛好碰上愛丁堡舉行藝術節，酒店價格飆升，衹好退而求其次，訂了城郊的這個學生宿舍。中文翻譯是“愛丁堡大學宿舍”，但其實衹是愛丁堡學院Edinburgh college的學生宿舍，並不是著名的愛丁堡大學university of Edinburgh
缺點：就宿舍本身來説，真是一言難盡。房間連浴室估計不超過十平米，一張靠牆的1.2米床，房間裏噴灑了濃郁刺鼻香味的空氣“清新”劑，窗户衹能打開一點點，薰得人頭腦發昏。浴室衹有個頭頂噴淋頭，沒有能拿着的花灑頭，水又噴得很分散，洗澡是件艱難的事情。
宿舍裏安裝了很多扇防煙門，裏面各房間象迷宮一樣，剛開始容易迷路
優點：幾個房間劃成一個區域，例如18區，裏面有公共廚房，餐具、廚具、冰箱、桌椅、微波爐、電瓷爐甚至烤爐一應具全。宿舍後面有個大超市，可以買東西自己做來吃。
宿舍附近有個小海灘和綠道Granton Beach，步行過去十分鐘左右。愛丁堡夏天涼快清爽，天氣晴朗海邊景色美好，人也不多，散步很舒服。有些當地人沿着海邊綠道騎行或溜狗。
宿舍門口有不少巴士，進城比較方便，到市中心王子街花園大概半個來小時"

SsilkwormNice little room but still with more space than I had expected. Decor is tasteful. Love all the quality products. Love the 'Do Not Disturb ' cat. Underfloor heating in bathroom was great to start with but it gets too hot when you stand in front of the wash hand basin for any length of time. Bed is good and spacious.

GGästanvändareEdinburghs fyra vänners hus är ett utmärkt boende med olika platser, atmosfär och tjänster.Hotellet ligger i centrum och kan nå attraktioner som Edinburgh Castle och Royal Avenue.Rummen och det offentliga utrymmet är mycket rena och de tysta inredningarna kan bota tröttheten under resan. Ägare och personal är mycket vänliga, turistråd och entusiastiska gäster är imponerande.Det är också utrustat med köksfaciliteter, rekommenderar långtidsboende eller självhushåll.Du kan sova i en lugn och rolig miljö och prisvärda. Det här är ett mycket tillfredsställande hem du verkligen vill lämna när du besöker Edinburgh!

LLucillefindsThe hotel and staff are great. It's a 10-minute walk from shops and restaurants. The room was secure, allowing us to leave our belongings without concern. The only downside was the bathroom; we wanted a private one accessible in the evening without going outside, but our room's bathroom was outside and shared with others.

GGraham HoodI would describe the twin lions hotel more of a b & b. It was very basic. It was only a 10min walk to murrayfield and they don't double / triple there price on match days.

GGästanvändareI loved the location as I had access to the park for the children and to the shop. I loved that the room had enough beds for all of us (5 people). I would have appreciated if we could get plates, as we came with food. It was great the room had a microwave. There was plumbing issues that delayed our shower time. But stay was good.
